In A Single Glance:
Chapter One: "Will you shut up?!" Alexis Manorial bellowed, striking the boy in front of her with a powerful slap. "No!" Dean Virtues yelled, striking Alexis right back. "I hate you!" Alexis jabbed a finger into Dean's chest to prove her point. "I hate you more!" Dean punched her (hard) on the cheek. "OW!" Alexis whimpered, sliding down onto the soft grassy Scotland moor. (Forgive my spelling) "Are you alright?" Dean cupped her cheek in his hand, his eyes searching for possible bruises. "I'm…okay." Alexis managed at last. Dean brought his face closer to hers, his spiky black hair billowing in the wind. "Are you sure?" He inquired, stroking her cheek. "Yeah, I'm fine. She looked into his gray eyes, and she was surprised to find real concern. Slowly, she put her lips over his, in a sweet kiss. The kiss was warm, and even though it was extremely gentle, there was a searing of something…more. Dean broke away, stood up, and stalked away. Alexis blinked back tears. How could he leave her like that?!?!
