The Dark War
(This is my first ever chapter so please see what I have)
Note: I do not own the credits to the Yu-gi-oh characters or the show. This storyline is written by me though.
Yugi, Joey, Tai, and Tristan are all walking along in the park after they dueled in Battle City looking for some people to duel with so they could warm up for what they may be facing in the future. Yami, the spirit in the puzzle, has a feeling things are going to be dangerous in the future.
"Hey Joey there is some guy over there that looks to be extremely powerful," said Yugi.
"Well Yugi, I don't think they can comprehend with the extreme power of my deck!!" Joey said with pride.
"Joey you got to be kidding me. You may have gotten 3rd place in Duelist Kingdom but you got in 4th place in Battle City! No offense Joey but don't get your hopes up," Tristan said with doubt.
"Man you sound so much like…."
Before Joey can say a word: Guess who pops up? Kaiba!
"Speak of the devil… literally…" Joey said in a quiet remark.
"Oh quiet Joey, I'm not here to sit and talk! I just came here to duel Yugi for his Egyptian god cards, so please walk away like a good little dog!"
Note: You know Kaiba is always after the Egyptian god cards that Yugi has and is only interested in the God cards: Slifer the Sky Dragon, Winged Dragon of Ra, and Obelisk the Tormentor. On another note: We all know that Joey cracks when someone calls him a dog.
"Why you selfish little pompous! If you say that to me one more time I'll…" Kaiba was not paying any attention to Joey. He was mainly focused on Yugi.
"Yugi, I still do not believe in what everyone is telling us about our battling in the past. I can't believe you believe in it. It's just a bunch of hocus pocus mind tricks to make us lose duels and not concentrate on stuff that is important…"
All of a sudden when Kaiba was talking, Yugi tapped into the power of his millennium puzzle. Out came the pharaoh.
"Kaiba!! You are so driven by hate and anger you cannot see what is happening before you! You may want my Egyptian God Cards, but you cannot have them. I will duel you for them and with the heart of the cards on my side you will lose!!"
"We will see Pharaoh… I mean Yugi," Kaiba said in disbelief."Kaiba what did you say?"
"None of your business, Yugi!"
From the helicopter Kaiba rode to come and meet Yugi and threw out a net that captured Yugi's friends. Yami tried to cut the net open to set them free, but some of Kaiba's goons came out and blocked him.
"What have you done with them Kaiba?? Set them free!!" Yami said.
"I would rather not, Yugi. I want you to duel me and the winner gets the Egyptian god cards, but the loser will find a surprise most un-pleasant," Kaiba said with a laugh, giving Yugi an evil grin.
"Kaiba, I will destroy you!! Let's duel and see who is the master!!"
