It was a beautiful winters day, the snow was falling and sticking tightly on the ground, students were laughing and couples were playing and tumbling in the snow. Harry, Harry just stood there on the bench watching his two best friends whine and bicker at each other, and it was snowing , for heaven sakes shouldn't snow make people happy. Harry went back to looking at the ground again that was covered in rich, white fluff and then the strangest thing happened , a girl went right next to him and just sat right there, no more then about a foot away from another.
Harry couldn't help but look at her, she had shiny brown hair with golden highlights that were glossing, her eyes, a lot like Harry actually, maybe a bit brighter, they were a green, a shining green, kind of like ivy, but they also had a little bit if blue in them, just enough to show that she got both of her parents eye color slightly, more of a bluish green eye color. Her skin was smooth and soft like an angel and her height, well she was just south of 5'2, but hey not everyone is perfect. Harry's thoughts were irrupted when Hermione and Ron started another fight.
"How is it, that you think you know absolutely everything when you don't" spoke Ron realizing what he just said.
" What's that suppose to me Ron" barked back Hermione.
"I like-yo, yogurt, I like yogurt, bet you didn't think I eat healthy did you" he said realizing how close he was to telling her.
"Honestly Ron, your eating something that's good for you, I mean your always making wrong decisions, I mean you choose your food wrong, you eat like a slob, you don't pay attention in class, never do your homework and foremost choose a horrible pet, need I say Peter-Peta-" Ron hit Hermione foot to prevent her form saying anything stupid since Harry was right there.
The girl sitting next to Harry left, she got up packed her things and just left. Harry tried to say something but couldn't find the words at all.
"Did you just hear anything we said" spoke Ron obviously realizing Harry was in a daze.
"Huh-what" he said looking up surprised form Ron.
"That girl you were just talking to, that was Elizabeth Chasten, wasn't" asked Hermione.
Harry just shrugged innocently.
"She's an exchange student form America, she's really nice, she treats people respectfully and doesn't judge and she loves Brittan to actually" Hermione said making a statement
"See, you do know everything-" Ron was interrupted by Harry.
"Will you drop it" Harry said in a demanding tone and swung his bag over his shoulder, then left to the common rooms.
Harry had been quit moody after Sirius's death. It was hard for him, he never really knew his parents, only had pictures of them and stories really, but now that the closet thing that Harry had ever had to a parent figure was gone he felt lonely. He felt as though someone had dug a huge whole in his heart and twisted a knife into him, he was empty now and alone...all over again. He wondered if he would ever be able to be happy again, if he would ever be able to love or be able to be happy. God only knew what was going through the 16 year old boys head, but only he would know.
