Oh, how sad it is,
Yet how blissful I am.
I have finally done it,
Oh, I have finally declared,
Who my one true love is.
It is the maiden from the west,
It is the sun in the east,
It is the moon overhead,
Leading me on,
With her beautiful radiance.
It is the star,
To my wandering bark,
And oh, how she leads me,
How she carries me to safety.
It is her,
The most wonderful thing,
The most glorious thing.
She is like Venus,
Rising out of the water,
Light shining down,
Illuminating her magnificence.
It is her,
The one name,
The one glorious name,
Catherine.
