Title: The Edge of the World

Notes: This is a unbeta'd version…! So I'm very sorry if I had made any spelling/grammar mistake or confusing parts that only I understand! Ok I know I've made some!! -.- cough, cough

Before the great spirit made man, he filled the big blue planet, called world, with animals. The animals liked to hold meetings to talk to dance and sing. They lived in Konoha a small town in the big world.

One time during June the animals met to find out how big the world was. They were afraid that they might fall off the edge of the world.

"Hokage-sama, does the world really have an edge?" many animals asked.

He only shook his head. "I don't know. We will find out!"

They chose Fox Naruto to find the edge of the world.

"Have a safe trip, Naruto-chan! And hurry with coming back!" Dog Sasuke said and lightly kissed his cheek. He turned his head around and blushed. Naruto also blushed and then he left the forest country.

Naruto was a fast traveler, but unfortunately as a fox he isn't crafty. He ran for one month. Naruto didn't find the edge of the world so he came back. "The world is so big… it has no end," Fox Naruto told to the other animals. ' And one long month without Sasuke is horrible…'

Then the animals sent Bear Chouji. Chouji is lazy. Very lazy. After he had traveled for two months, he found a cave and fell asleep. When he came back he told the other animals that the world was dark like a cave. "Even Grandfather sun doesn't know where the edge of the world is."

Deer Lee said he would go. 'Maybe Sakura would like me when I go…' he thought and began his trip. Deer Lee traveled north for four months. He came to a land that was white and cold. Lee almost froze his feet, and hurried back home.

"How did you know the way home?" the animals asked. Lee replied, " I talked to the hemlocks. They whispered to me how to get home."

"Let us send the fourth Hokage to find the edge of the world," the animals said. " The fourth Hokage is slow, but he never gives up!"

So Trundle Hokage took his home on his back and started his long journey. He came to the cold country; but the he has tough feet and went on. He came to the water country and swam for many months. After forty months the fourth Hokage arrived back at the forest country where the animals lived.

"How did you find your way home?" Fox Naruto asked in wonder. The other animals were surprised, too.

"I just kept on going and going and going," he said. "I must tell you that the world has no edge. It is round like Grandfather Sun and Grandmother Moon."

Then there was great joy in the hearts of all animals. Now they knew that, no matter how far or fast they traveled, they would never fall off the edge of the world. So the animals of the forest country made a big party and invented animals of the sand country and celebrated together.
