"Please Raven!" Beast Boy begged as he had been doing for the past half an hour or so. The dark young woman was getting impatient with him now.
"For the 1000th time; no!" she exclaimed in exasperation. There was not a hope in hell of her doing what he was asking.
"Please come, friend Raven" Starfire attempted "It will be fun"
Raven thought about it this time. She had found that Star's optimism compromised her own negativity at times. Damn...
"Do I have to come?" she sighed, giving in.
Beast Boy and Cyborg grinned "Yes" they said in unison.
The Teen Titans were now 18 and this meant one thing to Cyborg and Beast Boy; Coyote Ugly! The bar was famous in the city and both Titans had wanted to go for ages. Robin too, if he was forced in his mind to admit it. Not that he would say as much out loud though. Star might not like that....
"Come on guys, let's go already!" Cyborg pleaded impatiently, tapping his foot on the floor to express his annoyance. They seemed to be taking their time on purpose. Well, the two sets of 'couples' always seemed to. Not that they were dating or anything but Beast Boy and Raven argued like they were. Star and Robin too seemed to be dating the way the flirted with each other. But it just wasn't going to happen. They were all too stupid to realise it.
If he was honest, Cy wished that they never would. He'd be left out then, seeing as 5 Titans minus two couples left him standing alone. Maybe that night would change things though. He had heard of lots of fine girls going to Coyote Ugly, although all the details of the place were unknown. Whatever happened, that night was going to be a blast!
"Are you ready yet!?" he asked loudly, a bored note in his voice. There was no reply and he noticed that they had left him to his own thoughts, going to wait in the car.
"Hey guys, wait for me" he called, racing down to them.
