My first venture into the realm of Saiyuki fanfiction, though I assure you that I've been wanting to do it for the longest time. I finally got the inspiration to do it after watching Saiyuki: Requiem.

This is, yes, mostly from the point of view of none other than Genjyo Sanzo, if he were actually this poetic—which I highly doubt.

Please review, if you will. I accept anything you throw at me—though if you flame me, I'd appreciate it if you didn't go anonymous on me, nor that you give me some misspelled, ungrammatical piece of crap with no reasons why you thought this was a piece of total shit.
