Horatio walked into the lab to find his ballistics expert Calleigh, fast asleep at her desk.
"Calleigh," he whispered. "Calleigh Duquesne."
Just as he finished her last name, she shot up, knocking him over in surprise. Horatio landed on the ground right behind Calleigh. She turned around and gasped when she saw him on the ground.
"Oh Horatio! I'm so so sorry." She said as she knelt down to help him up.
"What did I ever do to deserve a good morning like that?" he asked.
"I said I was sorry." She said with a pouty look on her face.
"Fine, sugar?" he asked.
"What?" Calleigh asked, very confused.
"Coffee, Sugar?" Horatio replied.
"Oh yeah, thanks."
Horatio left to get them both some coffee while Calleigh gathered items for one of her ballistics tests. When H got back, he found Calleigh standing on a chair, straining to reach extra bullets on the very top shelf.
"Damn it! When I find out who put the damn bullets on the top shelf, I'm gonna kill the motherfucker!" she mumbled.
Horatio stood in the doorway, trying to muffle his laughs, upon never hearing the southern blonde speak like that.
"I swear to god that they'll never find the body." Calleigh continued.
After hearing this, Horatio couldn't contain his laughter.
Calleigh turned around and looked at him. "Are you going to help me or just stare at me like I am some science project?"
He set down the coffees and got the bullets for her. "Here you go ma'am."
"I hate being short." She mumbled "It's a curse."
"We all have curses Calleigh. And mine is not being with you." Horatio said.
FINISHED!!!!
