Author's note: Hey guys, this is my first fanfic. I'm not very confident in my writing abilities, but I hope I'm creative enough to make up for that. I can't stop people from saying bad things about my writing, but if you could tell me what I do wrong rather than flat out call me a horible writer I would appreciate that too.

My story is set during the Gangs seventh year at Hogwarts. There'll be explanations to why I skipped sixth year. Some of the kids are completely out of character, so don;t get mad at me for making them act in a way they would never really act. Remember to tell me what you think! Thanks!

.:.Chapter One.:.Changed.:.

Hermione had grown up over the summer.

Woah, thought Ron, is that my Hermione? Okay, okay, I cam't call her mine, but she just looks, for lack of a better word..hot. Ron was awestruck by this new girl, no..woman, that had entered, although she had always been in it,his life.

"Ron!" She cried. She ran to him and threw her arms around him. "How have you been? Woah, what are you, six feet tall now?"

"Not quite, 'Mione, just about five eleven," he laughed in response.

"What did you call me?"

"Oh, 'Mione? Do you not like it? Because I'll stop if yo-"

"Yes, please. I hate nicknames actually." Hermione stated matter-of-factly.

"Sorry," came the mumbled reply. Hermione dragged Ron to the train looking for an empty compartment. She opened the door to one seemingly quiet apartment and met fac to face with none other than Harry Potter.

"Umph, god mudblood, watch where you're going!"

Hermoine shrank back at the cruel words, confused and scared. Potter had also grown in height, and he had acquired thick muscles over the summer as well. Very nice muscles actually. She couldn't help giving him the once over. He quickly bestowed the same action on her.

Damn, Granger's defiantely a looker this year. She has better hair than Pansy and Parvati put together now. What happened to her?

"See something you like, Potter?" Hermione spat at him.

I'm like it very much if you must know. "Just wondering why they let filth like you into the school. Don't flatter yourself Granger."

She flushed crimson as her eyes filled with hate and disappointment. Harry had been her and Ron's best friend for five and a half years of their time at Hogwarts. She had loved him dearly, but events halfway through their sixth school year tore them apart violently, and left fury burning in each of their hearts. Harry had changed for the worse. Except, about one fourth of the shcool did not feel this way. The Slytherins were loving the new and improved Harry.

Author's note: Sorry the first chapter is so short. I jsut want to see if my idea is good. Then I'll continue with it. Please review!
