Caged Wind
A wild wind
Trapped within a bottle made of glass
A raging hurricane
Confined to a solid wooden crate
She doesn't own her soul
For she sold it for her life
And now she's nothing more
Than caged wind
But what breeze does not blow
And what bird does not sing?
What leaf does not fall
And what child does not smile?
She is the wind
And should belong to no one
But she sold her soul for her life
And now she's nothing more
Than caged wind
A cool breeze
Locked within a castle made of stone
A fierce tornado
Shoved into chains so none may know
She doesn't own her soul
For she sold it for her life
And now she's nothing more
Than caged wind
But what wave does not crash
And what rain does not drench?
What laugh does not ring
And what eagle does not soar?
She is the wind
And should belong to no one
But she sold her soul for her life
And now she's nothing more
Than caged wind
Just something I wrote that was inspired by Kagura. I know she didn't sell her soul or anything like that but this poem isn't so much about Kagura as it is inspired by her. I'm probably going to turn this into a song. Anyways, tell me what you think.
