Summery: "Why'd you come and find me?" "Because you're the only thing that makes sense in my life." She smiled and kissed his forearm. "I want to help." "If you'll let me." "Let you what exactly?" "Love you." (DG)
Love Me, Find MeHe felt pain surge through his arm. He closed his eyes tightly. An illusion, he thought fiercely, just an illusion. Blinking open his eyes the pain subsided. He breathed in a ragged breath and walked quickly to where he knew she'd be.
He stumbled into the room and she had to catch him. She placed him gently onto the floor. "What happened?"
"It's him," he said.
She pursed her lips. "I don't have the slightest idea-"
"I joined him, Ginny," He said desperately.
His eyes gazed at her pale face. She shook her head. "You promised-"
"He threatened to kill me." Draco grounded out and she looked defeated.
"Why'd you come and find me?" She asked softly as her hand skimmed his forehand lightly.
He stared at her. Waiting for her to meet his eye. When she did he said very softly, "Because you're the only thing that makes sense in my life."
She smiled and kissed his forearm. "I want to help."
"You can't-"
"I will," she said firmly. "If you'll let me."
"Let you what, exactly?"
"Love you."

It was a week later when he woke to a nightmare. He snuck out and found her sleeping in the library. A book was open on her lap as she slept. A quill that was in her hand nearly fell out as she moved slightly. The light was dim in the room yet her hair seemed to glow under it.
Perfect…He took a step to her. As he moved he was quiet. As if she was a woodland creature that would wake and scurry off. Bending in front of her he touched her shoulder gently. He shook her lightly and she groaned.
"Leave me alone, Ron," she grumbled.
"Ginny," he said. Her eyes snapped open and she moaned.
"What time is it?" She mumbled rubbing her eyes.
"Nearly one."
"One?" She asked. "Figures," she continued before yawning. She gazed at him and raised an eyebrow. "What are you doing here?"
"Finding you in the dark," he said with a trademark smirk.

If you were to ask him when he felt his heart beat again he would say when he first saw her in the bookshop. She saved him from everything he wanted. She showed him something new and yet something he never wanted. She showed him life. She showed him love. But most of all, she showed him trust.
Still, he never gave in easy. Yet, if he heard her name his eyes would soften. Even for just a moment. She made herself belong to him. He loved every moment of it. They never really did part. He never fell out of love with her. Neither did she with him. For on the night they met was the night they died.
His last words to her that night were spoken in a soft tone. "I'll let you help me."
She had smiled and whispered back. "And I'll let you find me."
