(The Blood Moon)
Prologue: The Disappearance.
"Hokage-sama!" A man yelled as he entered into the Hokage's office only to see Tsunade sleeping, snoring, on the desk. "HOKAGE-SAMA!" He yelled louder. It worked as Tsunade raised her head as she rubbed her eyes.
"What is it…?"
"Uzumaki Naruto is missing!"
"WHAT?!" Tsunade was now fully awakened. Her desk was snapped into half as she slammed her hands on it. "CONTACT THE ANBUS!"
"I'm on it!" The man replied before turning back.
"Naruto…"
"Everything seem to be in order… There's something wrong though…" An ANBU leader told the other ANBUs. "You," He pointed to other ANBU, "Go in first."
The leader could feel the glare.
"Go." The leader ordered. The ANBU walked into the room… And stepped on an invisible string trap which caused the room to explode. Fortunately for other ANBUs, the leader had closed the door. He opened the door again. The room was a mess. He then stepped over the dead body.
He and the other 3 ANBUs inspected everything but couldn't find anything. The window seemed to be never opened while the night. There was no genjustsu.
"Let's report this to the Hokage." The leader said. They then left in a black blur without saying anything more.
"YOU MEAN HE WASN'T KIDNAPPED… WHAT ABOUT THE TRAP?!"
"He probably set it up. The only things that seem to make sense… He left on his free will." The ANBU leader said.
"Damnit." Tsunade growled as she slammed her recently new desk into half again.
"You need to control your strength, Hokage-sama…" The leader said, "What is your next order?"
"Send all remaining ANBUs out searching! Bring him back alive!" Tsunade ordered. The ANBUs bowed their head before disappearing.
The door opened. The genins and a chuunin entered the office. "What is it?" Tsunade asked.
"We'd like to search for Naruto." Shikamaru answered lazily.
"… Is this true…?" Tsunade questioned again.
"Of course. He's our friend." This time it was Neji who answered. Tsunade sighed as she rubbed her temples.
"Alright… I give you all permission to search for him." She said, nodding.
"Let's go."
"Itachi-san…" A shadowy figure murmured. Itachi looked at him.
"What is it?" He asked calmly.
"Find Naruto… It seem he had disappear…" The shadowy figure answered. Itachi bowed his head before turning back. Kisame began to follow him but a voice continued, "Alone." Kisame silently growled at the man as he paused.
Itachi continued to outside of the hideout. He smirked lightly as he made outside. "Have you decided to take my offer… Naruto-kun?"
Yeah. I know this is short but aren't prologues supposed to be?
