Popcorn, soda, candy and sticky floors
The cool glow of the autumn sun gentle crept across a peacefully sleeping face. That peace was about to be short lived.
An aspirated sigh escapes my lips or should I say is forced out because some certain pinked hair individual thought it to be a good idea to use my chest as a lounging board.
"Yuuukiiii."
Perhaps if I pretend I am still asleep then he will just go back asleep or better yet just leave all together. I produce a fake mumble and casually cover my face with my arm.
"Yuukiii, I know your awake I saw your eyes move." the younger states while trying to pry my arm off my face.
"Plus" he adds "If you were asleep your arm would be so hard, uunn to move, ugh, from ugh your, ugh, faacccce. Argggghh." On the last pull I relax my muscle and he goes sailing across the bed and on to the floor. "Yuki, that is so not funny!" The disorientated heap on the floor yells
I sit up running my fingers through my hair, " Then why don't you go home." I say pausing to look for my lighter and a cigarette. With out a missed beat he is back on his feet and back on the bed and right back in my face. "Damn, brat" I mumble.
"But you promised." the brat replies with an added whine.
I throw my legs over the edge of the bed and rise up to a stand long arms encircle my waist holding me in place. I glare down hoping my, long practice and practically perfected, 'get your hands the fuck off me' look would work but instead I am greeting with big bright violet. I let out a sigh. "Fine, what is it that I promised?" I ask regretting each word as it traces over my tongue and teeth. With a yelp and a squeal he stand up on the bed and hops on my back.
"Well last night I asked you if we could go to the movies" he sings a bit to close to my ear. I start to walk into the kitchen with the extra baggage still attached to my back. "And you said yes." he almost screams but he does squeeze my neck in a chokehold that could be considered a hug if the lack of oxygen flowing to my brain wasn't making me want to kill him.
"I do not remember you asking me any question. And I most defiantly do not remember me saying yes." I say in a monotone voice.
He slides off my back. He then scurries in front of me with a smile on his face. Tapping on my chest he coos, "Yes you did." he leans against my chest as I take a sip of tea. He snakes his somewhat cold hands under my loosely fastened robe he continues, "I was telling you how much I would really like to go on a formal date with you. You know. Dinner and perhaps a movie, But just a movie would be fine as well." he lifts his head off of my chest and looks back up at me. I quirk an eyebrow as he continues, " You grumbled a bit but then you said," he changes demurer and voice to mimic mine, "Fine, grumble grumble grumble, just shut up and get on with it." He looks slightly to the left and gently pushes his self off of me. "So technically you did say yes."
"Hn," I gruff as I place my cup down to take a slow drag off my cigarette. "May I ask what were you holding in your hand at the time?" I question through an exhale of white smoke after I return the dimly lit stick to the ashtray leaning down next to his ear I whisper. I nibble on his ear asking between each small bite, "Do you remember what you were did with that cute little mouth of yours once you finally stopped talking?" His reply is a blush and a shivering puddle of Shindo. "Therefore, your question and my answer are now null and void."
"But, but, but" he stutters
I sip my tea.
