"You Can Talk the Talk"
(But Can You Walk the Walk?)
She said nothing could shake her.
Her faith would never waver.
But her friends could not believe,
That heaven she had achieved.
And when the cancer came,
They said her faith would not remain.
But even without her hair,
Towards heaven she did stare.
You can talk the talk,
But can you walk the walk?
Well, this girl has done both.
She can talk the talk,
Because she's walked the walk,
And you know where she's gonna go,
When God calls her home.
He was a punk with an attitude.
Religion he would never do.
But when God came knocking,
He did something shocking.
He opened the door and let Christ in,
And washed away was all his sin.
His "friends" said he was crazy,
And all he said was "maybe."
You can talk the talk.
But can you walk the walk?
Well this boy has done both.
He can talk the talk,
Because he's walked the walk,
And you know where he's gonna go,
When God calls him home.
Anyone can say they believe,
But in the face of adversity,
Are the wheat and shaff split apart.
What really matters comes from the heart.
(x2)
You can talk the talk,
But can you walk the walk
Well these kids have done both.
They can talk the talk,
Because they've walked the walk
And you know where they're gonna go,
When God calls them home.
When God calls them home.
