Pietro sighed and sat down on his bed. He held his head in his hands and rubbed his eyes. It was raining hard outside. He couldn't believe that she was reallly gone. It had been 2 weeks since she had left, and he still couldn't believe it.

/I wanted you to know
that I love the way you laugh.
I wanna hold you high
and steal your pain
away.
I keep your photograph
and I know it serves me well
I wanna hold you high
and steal your pain/

She had told him she was going to find her home. He had tried to stop her. With anti-mutant protests all over the place, he didn't want her to get hurt. He didn't want to lose her. He didn't want her to leave him.

/Cause I'm broken
when I'm lonesome
and I don't feel right
when you've gone
away.

You've got a whim
you don't feel the wind here
anymore/

He didn't care that she had healing factor. He cared for her. He didn't want anything bad to happen to her, even though over the long run it wouldn't affect her any. That was how much he cared.

/The worst is over now
and we can breathe again
I wanna hold you high and steal my pain
away
there's so much left to learn
and no one left to fight
I wanna hold you high and steal your pain/

He hadn't talked much since she left. Not even to his sister. He loved ,1 her. He didn't want her to go. She said she would be back once she found her past. That could take months or even years. He didn't want her to be gone that long.

/Cause I'm broken
when I'm open
and I don't feel like
I am strong enough
Cause I'm broken
when I'm lonesome
and I don't feel right
when you're gone away/

She had told him she needed to find her home. She thought it was in Canada. He tried to tell her that she already knew about the HYDRA works, that she had destroyed them. She said that her home counted as her past. She left to go find her past. Her home. She didn't realize her home was here. In Bayville. With him.

/Cause I'm broken
when I'm open
and I don't feel like
I am strong enough
Cause I'm broken
when I'm lonesome
and I don't feel right
when you're gone away/

His thoughts were broken by the sound of the door bell echoing throughout the large, empty house. He slowly got up and went to the door, glancing at the clock on the way out. Who would be calling on him at 10:02 pm?

/You've got a whim,
you don't feel the wind here
anymore./

He walked to the door and opened it. There she was, standing on the porch, soaked. Her dark hair was wet and lank, her dark blue t-shirt sopping wet and sticking to her slender body. Her jeans and shoes were darkened from the water. The two stared at each other for a moment. X23 then dropped her bag down and flung her arms around his neck in a hug. He held her tightly around her waist, close to him.

"I should have listened to you." she said, digging her head into the crook of his shoulder. Pietro drew her closer and layed his head against hers.

"You did what you thought you had to do. It's ok."

"No. You were right. There was nothing there for me. There was no home, no past I didn't

know. My home is here. With you."

"I missed you."

"I missed you too." she pulled back and looked him in the eye. Pietro soon closed the distance of a couple centimeters between them and captured her lips with his. The kisses started off soft and tentative, but then erupted into a burst of fiery, burning passion ,1 kept locked up for what seemed like more than two weeks. After a few minutes, they calmed down and broke apart.

"I love ,1 you so much." Pietro said.

"I love you too." X23 responded.
