Hopeless Love

It was in his blood to block out emotions. His eyes weren't intended to be a window to his heart. He wasn't even suppose to have a heart. Just like everyone else in his family, he wasn't meant to love. A need for power was suppose to be the only thing he was meant to feel. Like the generations of men in his family he had to be ruthless and selfish. That hadn't been a problem for the first seventeen years of his life. He had been the rich spoiled little brat that all had to obey. Always got what he wanted when he wanted, simply because he was able to have whatever he pleased. Never cared who had to suffer as long as he was satisfied. He was a god among peasants. And he knew that everything he desired was within the span of his arm. At least that was his the life he knew.

He was amazed on how one person could change everything. How one person could break him - his indestructible armor. And a female no less.

Her brown eyes trapped him, while her smile tore down every wall that surround his heart. He was helpless around her. He could take on the world's toughest wizards but it was impossible for him to resist this one girl.

It was funny, just last year he hated her with all the passion in the world. He would have killed her at any given chance. Now he was on the receiving end of her wand and wasn't bothering to put up a fight. She deserved to be happy and happy wasn't with him. He knew he was part of her pain and the quicker he was gone the better.

"Any last words, Malfoy" she questioned as she walked up to him. He didn't answer. Taking that as a no she aimed her wand at him. The green light shot towards him.

"I love you, Granger" he said as the spell hit him. His grey eyes locked with her brown ones before his world went black.
