Chapter 3: The Fun, the games, and the leap into the Sengoku Jidi
WARNING THIS CHAPTER CONTAIANS SUGGESTIVE DIALOUGE! IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT THAT IS DO NOT READ THIS UNTIL YOU DO, AND ONLY IF YOU CAN AFTER YOU KNOW!
(AN: Ok I promised that it would get more interesting and it will. I'm sorry for those who are actually reading this about the long update time but I have a very good reason. I DO NOT HAVE A WORKING COMPUTER AT HOME! Even if I did it wouldn't have INTERNET because I'm that poor right now. It's supposed to be fixed soon. So I have to do this at school and I don't have a planning period nor a comp class that I type in to do this!!! Like I said before if you like an intricate plot than read this, if not kiss my butt. Oh and I'm changing this story too PG-13. I decided against an R fic but sometimes it will have suggestive dialogue from this point on. Nothing too serious but enough to get the idea. If you don't read AN's I put it right here if your not suppose to be reading that kind of stuff. From what I've figured to be in this story it is PG-13 as far as that's concerned and I'll cut back on the cursing unlike I originally planned. If you're wondering why I'm doing this it is because I've already written most of this down. I was working on it during school, my TEACHER took it up read part of it and I had a VERY LONG TALK with her and the PRINCIPAL! Why me?!? *sigh* Anyways I'll stop typing your heads off now and get on with the story) They went rollarblading, to the fair and out to eat. Kagome had to admit that Setsuna was an excellent roller blader. She pulled off some stunts that Kagome thought were impossible that night. Kagome waved to her as she sped off and went to the bathroom. It was 9:06 when Kagome got in the shower.
When she got out and prepared to go to bed. She was in a good mood. Her childhood friend had returned from her 'enlightenment trip' toward becoming a miko. She looked at the clock, it was already past 11. No wonder she was all wrinkly. She had stayed in the tub a little too long, she was extremely tired so she went too bed.
Setsuna had gone straight too bed when she got home. She had the same nightmare she always had had for months. Only this time she could see their faces and hear their words. It was almost like something at home had triggered it. She realized what it was when she heard that one name and saw that one face. She woke in a cold sweat. She knew what she had to do. She climbed out of bed, packed a backpack full of stuff, grabbed the package her 'father' had given her, and took off leaving a note explaining.
As Kagome drifted off to sleep she thought of Inuyasha's face when she took off for home and giggled. As she finally closed her eyes and went to sleep she was unaware of the shadowed figure that stood in a dark corner of her room. The lone figure waited until the clock said it was almost 12 and Kagome's breathing had been deep and even for a while before it removed itself from the shadowed corner too remain shadowed still as it crept too Kagome's bedside.
"I'm sorry Kagome I must intervene with your fate in Sengoku Jidi before it is too late and this time is altered forever," it spoke as it crept closer, "I cannot allow Naraku to alter our time by winning and enslaving humanity (I know I know its cliché but hey) and it is my family duty to free Midoriko's soul from the Shikkon Jewel." Tears began to stream down its face, catching the magnificent moonlight and sparkled brilliantly.
As it bent down to take a shikkon shard memories filled with it waking up and screaming in a cold sweat because of visions. Visions of the Sengoku Jidi happenings (whats going on) and of Inuyasha's failure too defeat Naraku and its consequences within its own dreams. (Betcha can't guess who it is......not I know I know its obvious give me a break here its my first fic)
It knew it was suppose to do something otherwise it wouldn't have the visions. Suddenly a beam of moonlight (damn moonlight *snaps fingers*) hit its face and at that precise moment Kagome partially woke up. She saw it then but could only utter one word "Setsuna?" and then she fell back into oblivion. (Ok, that was for those who couldn't figure it out in which I pity you, those who were tired of it looking like a play, and me for doing all that extra typing)
Setsuna was startled. She had almost been caught. She quietly and quickly grabbed a jewel shard and went out the window and too the well. Setsuna paused and looked into the well and said, "May the gods forgive me but I must prevent my visions from coming true and I must free Midoriko's soul no matter the consequence."
She glanced back into her bag to make sure she had everything, then at the package as if to plead 'please be something I can use'. She glanced again at the well to keep herself from turning back. She then jumped down into the well as the bright light engulfed her and took her too the Sengoku Jidi.
She had no trouble climbing the well wall. (Well duh she is a demon for crying out loud *rolls eyes*) She threw her backpack over first she then popped out her head. When she did she felt a presence behind she slowly turned around. (You know how they turn around in cartoons when something really spooky is behind them yea like that)
When she did she almost screamed. Inuyasha was sitting asleep IN FRONT OF THE WELL!!! (Aww how cute!) She almost had a heart attack. She spoke to herself quietly as not too wake up Inuyasha (scary thought...you stranger inside well Inuyasha finds out get beaten to a bloody pulp yea) "If I don't stop having close encounters soon I'm gonna have a head full of white hairs or a heart attack."
Inuyasha stirred. Setsuna froze like a deer in the headlights. After a bit she decided it was safe and finished climbing out of the well. She grabbed her stuff and walked past Inuyasha. When she did he grabbed her leg (Setsuna's thoughts at this time, yours would probably be this too, were PLEASE DON'T KILL ME!!!) and he pulled her down onto his lap and hugged her. Setsuna was puzzled. (you would be too, unless your perverted and liked Inuyasha) Then she realized he was still asleep.
Still confused she then remembered she still had Kagome's scent on her. She smacked herself in the head and thought 'DUH'. Inuyasha then mumbled something. Setsuna could barely hear him. He mumbled "Kagome, please don't leave me I love you." After barely retaining a giggle and his grip loosened so she could get up without waking him she tiptoed into the forest. As she was tiptoeing away she heard Inuyasha say something that made her glad she didn't stay any longer. He said, "Kagome I want to make you mine tonight." (If you don't get #1 I pity you #2 He's having a wet dream about Kagome) *giggle*
Kilala happened to be awake and saw all of this. She followed Setsuna into the forest. She lost track of Setsuna and came upon a clearing. Setsuna came out from behind a tree. Kilala turned into her demon form and roared ferociously at her. Setsuna slowly approached her and held her hands out toward her saying, "Kilala I'm not going to hurt you."
Kilala sniffed her, nodded, turned back into her cute form, rubbed up against her, and begun to walk off. As she did she remembered the scent of the creature that was spawned from her old master's death (AKA Midoriko) and of how both resembled both Midoriko. This girl must be its descendent. This only proved that they had come back too free Midoriko's soul.
She ran back to the village and ran into Kaede's hut and slept there instead of with Sango because she was talking too Miroku. They were talking about their relationship and Kagome's and Inuyasha's as well as what they were going to do after Naraku was defeated. (See I told you I'd make it interesting now didn't! Yayness I now have a working computer at home......still no internet but hey it's a start! Still will be a good bit before I update probably for these reasons 1. I have to save it too a floppy and bring it too school to put it on-line 2. It is almost time for finals therefore teachers are cramming us with work to get us to know what we need to before the finals 3. I am studying for the ACT Test and I'm only in 10th grade you usually don't take that until 11th and 12th 4. I'm also typing a Witch Hunter Robin, Ruroni Kenshin, Knights of the Zodiac, and one of those fics where you take 2 or more anime or manga series and put them together fic all at the same time but not posting them 5. I don't get home until after 5:30 and I'm not rich so I would have either a laptop or a brand new Dell computer instead of this crappy 5 year old Gateway that erased all of my pics that I found SURFING JAPANESE WEBSITE CLICK ON WHATEVER IT WOULD LET ME CLICK ON FOR 3 WEEKS IN WHICH I WAS WAITING ON A NEW INKCARTRIGE FOR THE PRINTER SO I COULD PRINT THEM OUT AND CANNOT REPLACE CUZ I HAVE NO FREAKIN IDEA WHERE I GOT THEM!!! *daydreams about getting a new computer and smashing this one to bits* 6. I get up at 5:30 AM for school, I get home 5:30 PM from school and I go to sleep after 1 AM with no nap in between the I get up at 8am Saturday after going to sleep around 4 AM. The night before then going to sleep around 4AM Saturday night then I wake up at 6:30 for church Sunday and then go too sleep about 2 AM that night and proceed to get up at 5:30 the next day. Mind you the whole time not one nap. Not to mention putting up with my little brother who is just now going through puberty *shudders at pervertedness*. Take 20 animals 6 dogs and 14 cats (mainly outside few inside house and yes we are zoned for this) and be involved in two activities that keep me after school sometimes. So take a wild guess. (If you don't know I pity you cuz it means I'm really really tired. So please read and review.)
