Chapter 7 and 8:
The Meeting
AN: I'm back! *Readers groan* What!?! *Bounces up and down* I'm on adult strength allergy medicine, blood pressure medicine, IB Profien, pain- killers, and cough syrup. While drinking a Mello Yellow, a Coca-Cola, and Red Bull at the same time. Plus I have had lots and lots of chocolate! So Basically I am all tingly inside on a caffeine and sugar high while being in-humanly hyper and happy. Cuz #1 I can type again, #2 I am head banging to a Digimon CD, and #3 I'm on a 6-day weekend that was originally a 4-day weekend cuz of allergies. Not to mention I conveniently got out of a big Julius Caesar Test and memorizing a speech from the play that was a freakin' page long! Just for the record I HATE THE PLAY JULIUS CAESAR THAT SHAKESPEARE WROTE!!! It's not that I hate Shakespeare. God no, I love Shakespeare and most of his work. And it's not that I hate the story of Julius Caesar. God no, I love the story but I HATE THE PLAY! Have you ever read the play of Julius Caesar the one that Shakespeare wrote? Not the cool version, by the way I need to find it, but the one that is in the 10th grade Literature book. All they freakin do is talk and then you can't understand anything that they say! It's not that I can't read Shakespeare's plays and not understand them, cuz I can. It's just that one play that I can't. It's not even true cuz no one knows what they said all they know is that the conspirators (including Brutus) killed Caesar. So yeah. Ok enough about me. Lets see there was something I was supposed to do but can't remember. *Takes a big gulp of Red Bull* Oh yeah, honoring those who have reviewed my story!

Setsuna re-woke later that morning. She sat there sensing for a long time. She finally sensed Inuyasha's youkai and sighed. It had only taken her a day to get the cave that she now called 'home' looking at least like it was being lived in. It was behind a waterfall and had a small passage that led to another chamber, which had another entrance that could easily be blocked. It even had a chest-deep pool that could be used for bathing in privacy. She had set her plan in motion by spreading word about her great 'herbal remedies and healing abilities'. Soon an injured Inuyasha would be brought to her.
She did not expect what was about too happen next. She stood and stretched her muscles and walked to the 'bathing' pool. Since no one could see her there she didn't think twice about stripping her clothes off stretching some more. She then hung her priestess robes that she had brought with her to wear to 'fit in', on the giant rock next to her.

Sesshomaru raced along the riverbank. He had left Rin with Jaken and his dragon (I have no idea what that thing is) in a safe place to wait for him. He had heard of a 'Demon Priestess' who had extremely skilled and powerful healing abilities. He wanted too see if she could replace his mutilated arm with one that could grasp the tetsuiga. (Go figure) He saw the alleged waterfall and he saw the dark spot where the cave entrance was. He jumped towards it and passed through the waterfall with ease. He spoke before he opened his eyes from the water.
"Demon Priestess I command you too...." he stopped in mid sentence and stood there eyes wide in shock at what he saw.
There was a beautiful young female fire dog demon standing right there in front of him totally nude! Her tail fluffed up, her ears flattened, and her eyes grew completely red. She then screamed an extremely ear piercing scream and began throwing various objects and very sharp and pointy rocks at him. Since he was standing at the edge he lost his balance and fell out of the entrance, through the waterfall, and to the river below. Setsuna cursed, grabbed her robes, and went to the entrance to wait on the rude demon.
Sesshomaru jumped back up and landed an inch in front of her with a peeved expression on his face. He was soaking wet. (Fluffy fans sigh and grow starry-eyed imagining this scene) Setsuna stood there tapping her foot and said,
"You command me too what?" Her eyes narrowed.
Sesshomaru looked at her and said, "I came here to get my arm healed." His expression growing scarier by each passing second.
"And why might I ask would I do that, you've only given me reasons not too. First you barge in here while I am bathing and then you COMMAND me not ask but COMMAND me to do so." She spoke with a look that could kill.
:"I am the Great and Powerful Demon Prince of the Western Lands." He spoke in a cocky voice and looked down upon her as if she were nothing more than a mere child.
"Excuse me your 'highness'," She spoke sarcastically, "where I come from you don't barge into someone's home uninvited no matter who you are! And most certainly no one, I said NO ONE COMMANDS ME!!!" She turned her back on him. "I will not heal your arm and that is final. I believe you will be leaving now Mr. Sesshomaru."
Sesshomaru was shocked. Did he just hear her right? She, a FEMALE in HIS TERRITORY just DENY HIM!!! She didn't even have a look of terror when she heard his name. She suddenly fell too her knees unconscious. He managed to catch her before she completely fell to the ground. He carried her over to her pallet and laid her down. Judging by what he had heard about her powers and the look on her face he guessed she was having a vision. He knew that no fire dog demon could have such powers and that she was only half fire dog demon and half shadow demon. Since only shadow demons could posses both powers at such an early age.
She was shaking as he covered her up. He noticed several strange scents on her. She was clearly not from this area or even close. Judging by his surroundings and its scent she had only been here for a little over a day or two. She had probably either had ran from something or was looking for something. He automatically ruled out her running from something. She had let her whereabouts be known all to well. And the fact that by judging her actions earlier she was not the type too run and hide. Right now she was susceptible to predators in this state and he was not going to leave the only one who could repair his arm alone and easy for the picking.
Setsuna's mind raced. She had had this vision before. It was when Sesshomaru fought Inuyasha for tetsuiga. Wait, why would she have this vision again, unless fate wanted her to repair his arm. It showed her where his arm had fallen. Setsuna's eyes fluttered open. No light came through the waterfall. She guessed it was dark. She looked over and saw Sesshomaru tending to the fire.
"I've decided that I will heal your arm," she spoke so suddenly that it startled Sesshomaru, "but... let's get some things straight first. #1 you don't command me. #2 Don't you dare to EVER barge in on me like that again." Sesshomaru was stunned. He didn't expect her to wake up and then have enough energy to sit up. Let alone speak. Not to mention change her mind. He managed to nod his head.
Setsuna started motioning her hands in a circle motion until a black energy orb appeared in her grasp. Her hands penetrated the black energy orb. When they resurfaced the black energy took the form of arm bones and disappeared revealing the pearl white bone. Setsuna panted. Making a portal through dimensions and then reaching into the portal and removing a foreign object from that dimension then bringing it into this dimension was no easy task. Sesshomaru watched in awe.
She looked at him and said, "Remove your shirt, lay over there on that mat, and drink this." Sesshomaru did as told. After he drank the awful smelling and tasting liquid he started to feel funny. Setsuna began mixing and crushing herbs. As she was going on with her business Sesshomaru watched her. The room began to tilt slightly then spin. There were 3 or 5 of Setsuna now. He growled angrily at her. He did not like not being in control of his body. She looked at him. Her crimson red sad and sorrowful eyes that were filled with a sense of loneliness were the last things he saw before he slipped into oblivion.
Setsuna looked at him when she heard his low growl that turned into an almost purr as his eyes closed. She waited a while before going over and nudging him with her foot too make sure he was out cold. She giggled at the thought of him purring. She grabbed the arm bones and placed them in their correct position. She then began to chant.
"Bone to bone, blood to blood, flesh to flesh." She chanted the phrase several times. Her eyes grew solid black, the shadows swayed to her call, dark energy gathered around her hands as she waved them above the bones, and transferred itself to the arm bones. Suddenly the bones connected. Before they could fall apart again her eyes flicked solid red for a moment while they melted together at the severed line.
The end of his arm had healed over with skin so she quickly burned it off and melted the bones together. The newly reopened blood veins writhed and grew until they made a complete system of blood veins. The muscles did as well. Then the skin crept slowly down the arm until it two completed itself. The markings appeared and his fingernails grew. There was a scar that showed the slash marks from tetsuiga. The scar would always be there. Setsuna was exhausted. She passed out next too Sesshomaru, as the sun rose from its slumber.

Kagome sighed. They had been walking since dawn. Since the 'incident' Inuyasha had barely spoken too her and every time their eyes met he turned bright red. She turned red herself at first, but when she realized that it meant Inuyasha cared for her in a way that was 'beyond friendship' she began to think of it as cute. No one, not even Kaede said anything to her or Inuyasha about it. It freaked her out even more in the beginning. Now it was getting annoying how every one was pussy footing around it and acting like nothing had happened. Inuyasha was getting even more annoying with his childish embarrassment about it.
I mean come on, he should at least admit to her in private that he loved her. Just...he shouldn't get a big inflated ego about it either. He could be a little nicer and give me more complements. She sighed heavily. Inuyasha was watching her from the corner of his eyes. He watched her face change with an array of emotions. He wondered what she was thinking of. He hoped she wasn't still mad at him. Suddenly Kagome stopped. Inuyasha turned around immediately.
"I sense a jewel shard nearby." Kagome spoke and looked Inuyasha straight in the eye. This of course made him blush. He tried to cover it up by quickly turning around and crouch down. Signaling her to climb on his back. She didn't hesitate to do so either. Miroku, Sango, and Shippou hopped on Kilala and took off. Leaving Inu and Kagome alone. Since this was the first time they came into physical contact since Inuyasha pulled her up off the ground. Which of course made Inu turn beet red and freeze in his tracks. This caused Kilala too stop and everyone to look at them with a weird look on their face. This made Kagome turn red.
"What are you all looking at!" Inuyasha raved when he snapped back to reality. Everyone turned right back around and waited for Inuyasha to lead the way. Kagome shrunk to an almost non-existent size from embarrassment. They rushed along the forest trail. Kagome pointed out a cave entrance that was almost completely covered with shrubbery. As soon as Inuyasha walked into the cave he held out his arm to stop the others from entering and sniffed the air. His eyes narrowed and he spoke not but one word, "Sesshomaru!"

Setsuna hurriedly cast the spell that changed her form to that of a human and hid the scent of her youkai. She quickly had the shadows remove her scent completely from the cave. Inuyasha and Kagome were close. They couldn't find out about her, not yet. As she went to hide Sesshomaru and his scent as well as grab the jewel shard she heard them. They were already inside the cave. 'Crap,' she thought as she tried to wake up Sesshomaru. It was no use. She ran to the waterfall entrance and jumped out leaving both Sesshomaru and the jewel shard behind.

Inuyasha ran quickly through the narrow passageway that lead upwards into the cave. He had drawn tetsuiga immediately when he entered the upper level of the cave. He was prepared to fight an all-out bloody war he was not prepared for what he saw. He sweat-dropped and face-faulted at what he saw. Sesshomaru was lying down without any armor, weapons, or a shirt on asleep. Kagome came in and grabbed the jewel shard before actually looking around at what was in the room.
When she saw him she liked to have laughed herself to death. Unfortunately for Shippou that was not the case. Sango let out a giggle and Miroku sweat- dropped. After a bit Inuyasha got ticked off and tried to wake Sesshomaru up. It didn't work. He literally grabbed Sesshomaru's shoulders and shook him until he made himself sick. That's when curiosity got Kagome. She walked over to Sesshomaru, kneeled, and put her hand on his forehead. Inuyasha's jaw practically dropped to the ground when she did.
"What are you doing!" He screamed at the top of his lungs. Inuyasha then noticed that Sesshomaru was shaking violently. Kagome looked up with a worried look on her face and said, "He's got a really high fever we have to help him." Inuyasha was stunned. Kagome wanted to help Sesshomaru! SESSHOMARU! The guy that tried to kill her before! Not to mention him and everyone else! "Are you nuts! You want to help him!"
"Well, what else are we suppose to do leave him here to die!" Inuyasha was shocked at what Kagome had just said. "Alright, Sango go to the next village and get some herbs and as many medical supplies as you can and hurry." Sango shook her head and took off.

Setsuna over heard everything and rushed to the next village. Luckily she had grabbed her herb sack. By the time she got to the village her clothes were dry. She kneeled down in front of the shrine on the outskirts of the village. She opened her bag partially to show the several different herbs inside. She began to act as if she was praying. Just in time because Sango came rushing over the hill.
"Excuse me Miss," Sango said out of breath, "could I please have those herbs in that bag of yours? It's really important. My friends and I stumbled upon a very sick stranger. If we do not help him he may die." Setsuna looked up at Sango and said, "I am a very experienced healer, please allow me too assist you."
"No, no, no, I wouldn't want to intrude on you. One of my friends is a wonderful healer, not that you aren't a wonderful healer yourself. It's just that we did not see any healing herbs near the cave and my friend is too afraid to leave the strangers side for fear of his demise." She said trying to keep the strange young girl from coming with her just in case Sesshomaru woke up and decided to go on a rampage, endangering the girl's life. (I know, I know, way OOC but I had to do sumthin')
"Nonsense," Setsuna spoke giving no room for argument, "I will assist you and your friend. Besides, what kind of Priestess would I be if I didn't?" Setsuna took off in the direction that Sango came from before Sango could react. After what had just happened hit Sango she thought, 'Inuyasha's going to kill me for sure.'
AN: Since I haven't written in a long time I decided to make this chappie extra long. At least I think I did if I didn't I'm sorry I tried. Since I'm leaving the author note up this is chappie 7 and 8 so you people won't get confused. Thank you to all my faithful readers who review my story. And thank you all for not killing me. My hands are numb, and my shoulders are sore since my medication and caffeine and sugar high has worn off so...BYE BYE!

When she saw him she liked to have laughed herself to death. Unfortunately for Shippou that was not the case. Sango let out a giggle and Miroku sweat- dropped. After a bit Inuyasha got ticked off and tried to wake Sesshomaru up. It didn't work. He literally grabbed Sesshomaru's shoulders and shook him until he made himself sick. That's when curiosity got Kagome. She walked over to Sesshomaru, kneeled, and put her hand on his forehead. Inuyasha's jaw practically dropped to the ground when she did.
"What are you doing!" He screamed at the top of his lungs. Inuyasha then noticed that Sesshomaru was shaking violently. Kagome looked up with a worried look on her face and said, "He's got a really high fever we have to help him." Inuyasha was stunned. Kagome wanted to help Sesshomaru! SESSHOMARU! The guy that tried to kill her before! Not to mention him and everyone else! "Are you nuts! You want to help him!"
"Well, what else are we suppose to do leave him here to die!" Inuyasha was shocked at what Kagome had just said. "Alright, Sango go to the next village and get some herbs and as many medical supplies as you can and hurry." Sango shook her head and took off.
(scene change)
Setsuna over heard everything and rushed to the next village. Luckily she had grabbed her herb sack. By the time she got to the village her clothes were dry. She kneeled down in front of the shrine on the outskirts of the village. She opened her bag partially to show the several different herbs inside. She began to act as if she was praying. Just in time because Sango came rushing over the hill.
"Excuse me Miss," Sango said out of breath, "could I please have those herbs in that bag of yours? It's really important. My friends and I stumbled upon a very sick stranger. If we do not help him he may die." Setsuna looked up at Sango and said, "I am a very experienced healer, please allow me too assist you."
"No, no, no, I wouldn't want to intrude on you. One of my friends is a wonderful healer, not that you aren't a wonderful healer yourself. It's just that we did not see any healing herbs near the cave and my friend is too afraid to leave the strangers side for fear of his demise." She said trying to keep the strange young girl from coming with her just in case Sesshomaru woke up and decided to go on a rampage, endangering the girl's life. (I know, I know, way OOC but I had to do sumthin')
"Nonsense," Setsuna spoke giving no room for argument, "I will assist you and your friend. Besides, what kind of Priestess would I be if I didn't?" Setsuna took off in the direction that Sango came from before Sango could react. After what had just happened hit Sango she thought, 'Inuyasha's going to kill me for sure.'
AN: Since I haven't written in a long time I decided to make this chappie extra long. At least I think I did if I didn't I'm sorry I tried. Since I'm leaving the author note up this is chappie 7 and 8 so you people won't get confused. Thank you to all my faithful readers who review my story. And thank you all for not killing me. My hands are numb, and my shoulders are sore since my medication and caffeine and sugar high has worn off so...BYE BYE!
