She was flung into a world of darkness. Her mind swirled with endless memories. Painful memories. It all started when she was six.
Setsuna ran to a small and crying Kagome.
"Hey Kagome! I heard what happened. My mommy told me. I'm so sorry." She hugged Kagome then. Trying to comfort the younger girl.
"Hey it will be alright."
"Promise?"
"I promise! Here take this."
She held out her hand and placed a half gold sun pendant in her hand. Its to show that we're best friends. See I have the other half. She pulled a silver moon pendant out of her shirt.
"Wow! Thank you Setsuna."
"Come along Setsuna."
"Yes Mommy! I got to go I'll talk to you later." She hugged Kagome and ran to the car.
Half an hour later they pulled into their driveway. Setsuna jumped out of the car and ran to her room so she could change into her gymnastics suit. While Kierasu her mother went into the kitchen to make sandwhiches for lunch. Setsuna finished changing and went down stairs to eat.
"Mommy."
"Yes dear?"
"Why did you say you were fat again?"
"You remember the talk we had about where babies come from right."
She shook her head yes.
"Well mommy is going to have a baby in a few weeks.
"Is it going to be my new brother or sister"
"Your going to have a new little brother."
"Yay! Now I'll have someone younger to help me beat up big brothers"
"Do you want to feel him kick?
"Sure."
She put her hand on her mothers stomach and felt him kick. Her eyes opened wide and she fell on the floor laughing.
"Whats so funny?"
"It feels funny." She said getting up.
The doorbell rang. She waited until her mother came back with a strange man.
"Setsuna, I want you to meet a good friend of mine. His name is Yusaki."
"Hello Miss Setsuna its nice to finally meet you. Your mother has told me alot about you.
Setsuna swung her legs back and forth. Showing her nervousness. She eyed him warily over her green cup. yuskai's smile slowly faded. She stood up. Her hair in a long braid. She still wore her half pendant that matched her black and silver gymnastics suit.
Yusaki looked at his daughter. one day she would be a beauty. She finally decided there wasn't anything wrong with him. So she walked over to him and held out her hand.
"Hi."
He took her hand and kissed the back of it.
"Dear why don't you go practice your gymnastics and ballet now."
"Yes Mommy."
She walked outside. Leaving them alone to talk.
He turned sharply and left he passed Setsuna on the way out the front door.
"Daddy whats wrong? Why are you angry? Daddy?....Daddy? He sgot in his car and sped off.
Setsuna walked up to her mother.
"Mommy why is daddy so angry? Is he mad at the nice man?"
"Setsuna put on some shorts and go out to the car."
"But why?"
"Just do it."
"Yes Mommy."
Setsuna ran upstairs. She paused at the top and listened as her mother made a phone call.
"Mom after practice take the boys to Yusaki's place.......Yes, he found out........I know, I know......We should be there by the time you get there. Love you, Bye."
Setsuna went to her room.
The car ride was in total silence. Setsuna wanted to ask her mom what was wrong but knew better. Kierau's water broke and at the same time the baby kicked. Sending her into a spiral of pain. When she recovered it was too late. She hit a semi head on.
Setsuna was flung out of the car by the force of the impact. She lay on the ground semi concious. While fire seeped all around her. Kierasu was pinned in the car. Setsuna saw Yusaki's shadowed figure before she slipped into unconciousness.
