Author's Note: And yet, another poem and one about Inspector Carmelita Montoya Fox. This time, however, the style of writing is different, allowing for more of a storytelling.
Black and White
Written by Black Rosettes
Black and white as night and day,
was how she interpreted criminals,
With a stern countenance, she never
relented, nor succumbed to
Reckless passion, save for her own,
Then came one elusive criminal, she set
in her fiery sights,
There was something peculiar about him,
and she vowed to apprehend,
She tailed him for however long she willed,
always catching up with him,
Nothing a subtle surprise wouldn't allow
the raccoon to escape,
But then a wild chase ensued, atop rooftops,
along railings and chimneys,
And across the world they raced;
with her shock pistol too fond to be drawn.
