Even the Restorative Horseman of Death can understand people's reasons for wanting to end their suffering, but he can see a reason for them to not give up so quickly. Suicide is never an option.

Spoilers for Rebuild 3.0 1.0. Three days after the final confrontation with NERV, Asuka heard an unknown voice talking with Kensuke and Toji. The stranger's voice sounded so familiar yet so different.

He is no longer afraid of getting hurt as long as he can make sure that she will be alright.

Shinji decides to take his relationship with Misato to the next level. Rated T for some mild swearing.

The path of redemption will never be easy. In a post-Third Impact world, Shinji and Asuka try to rebuild a sense of normalcy as they deal with their own trauma and the gradual return of several figures from their past.

I wrote this to cope with the ending of Evangelion. I just want these characters to be happy. Original series continuity, cutesy and light story about Shinji and Asuka being in a relationship. Don't think too much about it, I wrote it to help myself, if it helps you too, I'm thankful.
