Breaking
Like droplets of rain coming down on the world.
Realization hit me hardupon seeing his face.
That, in fact, he wasn't here to say hello but to say goodbye.
Never to return.
Not so much as a look back he left, not a sound was uttered between us.
For words were not needed.
I could see it in his eyes.
What he had done.
What was left to do.
So I lay here in my bed.
Just lying, staring at the ceiling.
I try to think, comprehend what had happened not an hour ago.
But I can't.
I just lye there, tears threatining to flow.
