Why did you betray me?

How could you turn your back on all our years together?

Your ruby eyes glittered with malevolent glee

You cut out my heart, bloody and bleeding, and held it in your hand

The slicing of flesh, the severing of ties

Your sword carved a void in me, you killed me!

Once, twice, three times you squeezed the still animated heart

Blood spurts from its limp veins

Your laughter rings out, bouncing off the trees

Such a spiteful laugh that I shudder

The pain subsides as I die

My body falls forward, where it shall remain for eternity silently rotting

Yet, my soul with live on, still yearning for your touch

I will still crave the taste of your sweet lips, your body against mine

As I stare down at myself from the heavens, you start to cry

Was it all a mistake? Did you really wish for my death?

I observe you curse the world and plunge the sword deep into your chest, right where your heart resides

I cry out, shouting your name as your blood mixes with mine

Our love is mutual, it has survived through many hardships

I feel a light touch on my shoulder and whirl around to meet your gaze

A smile spreads across my lips as we embrace

We will be together now and forever
