The wind blew softly over the rooftops as the Phantom Thief Dark stared down at the heavily guarded museum. His dark plum eyes sliming as he looked at the guards. Stupid guards. Again they think they can keep me away from my prize. They have another thing coming to them. He thought as he got ready to jump. Suddenly the sirens in the museum went haywire." The artifact has been stolen!" Yelled one of the guards. Satoshi walked, slowly, out of the museum. In his hand he held a letter signed in a print close to Darks handwriting. I haven't even gone inside yet I just got here! Dark yelled to Daisuke as they both watched. Inside Dark's head Daisuke tried to figure out who could have stolen what he was already scheduled to steel.
The next day Daisuke went to school only to find everybody talking about it." I can't believe Dark didn't steel it before this new person did. He's too cute for that!" Whined one girl as she looked at her friend. We didn't even get inside before it was gone. Dark complained inside Daisuke's head as Daisuke looked at the floor. I know but who could have gotten it? We're the only thieves in the whole city. Daisuke thought to Dark as he stepped into the classroom. "Daisuke! Daisuke! Did you hear about what happened last night?" Risa asked looking at him eagerly, a look of sadness in her eyes." Yes. It's all that people are talking about right now." He said looking out the window. Pulse I was there. I think I remember after all the reminding I've gotten today. He thought to himself as he remembered that morning.
"Daisuke I'm so disappointed in you. Not only did you mess up but now you have competition in the thievery portion of your life." His mother snapped as she turned and looked at his father over her shoulder." Your father wouldn't have messed up on such an easy mission." She took a deep breath and closed her eyes." You're going to be late for school Daisuke." She said confidently." Oh man school!" Daisuke yelled as he then raced out the door after giving his mother a good bye kiss.
"Oh man maybe I shouldn't have done that." Daisuke said watching the clouds go by." Shouldn't have done what?" Riku asked as she looked over his shoulder at what he was doing. Daisuke looked over at her." Ahhh! Riku what's with leaning over me like that, you're going to give me a heart attack." He said as she leaned up and looked at him confused." I didn't mean to scare you like that Daisuke." She said looking at him worried at how easy to scare he was lately." Daisuke are you feeling ok?" She asked reaching over to feel his head." I'm fine. Why?" He asked her as he allowed her to feel his forehead." Because you're really out there lately. You're easy to scare." She said lifting her hand up and pushing her hair out of her face." So I'm a bit spacey lately." He said as he watched her look out the window behind him. Just then Satoshi walked through the door and looked straight at Daisuke. He walked over to them and bent down to look Daisuke in the eyes." May I speak to you outside?" He asked as he then leaned up. Behind him Risa and Riku were going crazy." Sure why not." Daisuke said standing and walking out of the classroom with Satoshi.
