Lightning-Chan: My computer is all screwed up right now so I have to use Notepad for typing up this little story. Actually, it's more of a poem from Felix's point of view when he saw that the Doom Dragon was actually his parents and Isaac's father.

I've been writing a ton of poems lately...Don't really know why.

-----

Flashing lights explode
Warmth slashes my face
Blood trickles from an open wound
But what lies before me is worse

There you are
Two people I've wanted to see for years
Because of me you had to feel pain
Because of me your life could've ended

The world continues to turn
As do the planets as we circulate around the sun Forever I would have remembered you
Should you have gone

My silence is mournful
My heart slows it's pace
Eyes flicker back towards me
Looking for guidance

I don't want to believe you're gone
My imagination can take me far
But reality will take it's toll
It doesn't matter if I believe

I know you're still alive
Deep inside my mind
Yet hope seems to have been lost
Before it has been gained

Mother, what did you want?
I did the best I could
Fought my battles
Until the bitter end

Mother, did you really want to fight?
I may have scarred you for life
Scars may last for eternity
But good memories forever

Father, was I worth that much?
Had I never come back
Would you have waited for me?
Love is an unbreakable force

Father, I want to tell you something
Apologies are worthless in the face of time
For they only earn you forgiveness
While you can gain something more

Trust is a virtue, not a feeling
Faith is for the loyal
Tears aren't for the weak
They're for those who have learned to love

I wish I could've gone back
And listened to those who knew best
I wish I hadn't gone into battle
When I could've listened for answers

Sister, if you could replay that moment, would you?
Or am I just regretting something that could not have been helped?
I want you to know I'm not heartless
Because there are those who are

Fear isn't a sign of the cowards
It's a part of being human
Smiling isn't a symbol of the exuberant
It's for those who acknowledge our short existance

Happiness doesn't stand for enthusiasm
It represents how alive you are
Sadness was never symbolic of the mourning
It's for those who don't know how to be happy

Mother, father.
Hold me tight
I don't want to lose you again
Before the next golden sun rises...
