Chapter 3-The Hogwarts Express
On the train Sirius has his arm around my waist and my legs are lying on top of his. James' arm is around Lil's shoulders and she is playing with his fingers. Remus, however, is in the prefect compartment with all of the other prefects. Right after the food trolley has passed a sneered comment is made from the doorway.
"Why ever do you hang out with such losers, my dear, when you could be sitting with me?" Malfoy and his goons, Crabbe and Goyle, were standing in our compartment door and they were looking right at me.
"And sit with the real losers, I think not. I'm perfectly happy sitting with my boyfriend and friends. I say standing up so I'm square with Malfoy.
"Besides we don't need prats taking up our valuable time. Do we guys?" Sirius spat out while standing up, James and Lil following.
"Any trouble here?" asked a stern voice coming from the hallway.
Remus then stepped into the compartment.
"If there was, what would you do about it, Loopy?"
"I'm a prefect, Malfoy, so if I were you I'd watch my tongue. Maybe I should give you a month of detention to show that I'm serious."
At this Malfoy looked extremely agitated then left down the hallway muttering to himself. Remus looked quite pleased with himself as he sat and started to initiate conversation.
"So who was Luscious trying to bother this time?"
"He was going after Chloe," replied Sirius as he started to tense up a little.
"If he tries anything like that again, I'll hex him until he's completely unrecognizable." "The key word in that sentence is 'try'. I would never do anything with Malfoy, ever," I say to Sirius hoping to calm him down.
The rest of the train ride is pretty uneventful. Remus leaves a couple of times to patrol the corridor. The train finally stops in Hogsmede and everyone loads off and heads for the carriages. Lily, James, Miranda, Remus, Sirius and I all get in one and take the bumpy ride to the castle. When the carriage stops in front of Hogwarts Sirius helps me out, James helps Lil out and Remus helps Miranda out.
