Chapter 2: Disco!
It was a cacophony of electric noises in the disco, combining with the swirly sweaty bodies of the disco ravellers on the dance floor.
"Uwaa! It's so lively!" –Tohru
"Urr…kinda loud isn't it?" –Yuki
"The noise is givin' me a headache!" –Kyou
"Hey, hey, hey! Why don't you go join in the crowd, Tohru?" –Uo
"M-me?! I-I can't dance!" –Tohru
"You don't have to know how to dance, just let the beat get you" –Uo
She shoved her into the crowd that began pulling her deeper and deeper. Soon she found herself in the middle of the dance floor. Embarrassed, she began swinging her arms fiercely and did all sorts of weird moves.
"Are you sure this is safe, Uotani-san?" –Yuki
"Of course! Look, the gals already into it!" –Uo
Not!
Suddenly a drunk man approached Tohru. She was startled when he put his hands on her waist.
"Hey, babe! Want to go to a nice place with me? hic" –Drunkard
"Ah! N-no thank you…I-I'm with someone else." –Tohru (scared)
"Oh, c'mon! It'll be fun!" said the drunkard as he tried to pull her away but then all of a sudden a force sent flying across the disco room.
"Stay away from Honda-san, you creep!" –Yuki
"Y-Yuki-kun!" –Tohru
"Daijoubou-ka?" –Yuki
"H-Hai!" –Tohru
There was no way they could escape from the crowd. They were stuck. Suddenly the song changed. Everyone slowed down to get use to the new beat.
Note Daijoubou-ka? (means 'Are you alright')
