Duo had always acted stupid. Especially when in a crowd. His actions were all but giving everyone the impression that his intelligence was limited to a third grade, third rate education with nothing to show even for that.
But little did anyone else know that after the war he went into college-in secret-acing all the aptitude tests and coming out 2nd in his class, in conjunction with part-time work with Hilde in the L2 Garage. Though even Hilde didn't know.
Then a fateful day came where he went for another job, and Heero was working there too, and laughed asking for his schooling when Duo asked to be hired.
No one ever figured out why Heero had a heart attack that day…Or who the hell saved him…
