Prologue

The Digital World didn't always exist. If it hadn't been for those programmers, none of this would have ever happened. Even though the program was shut down, the data survived. A couple data clusters to be exact.

These were the two remaining Life Clusters, the ones that gave thought to the created Digimon. Since they remained, they still thought. They thought the only thing to do now was to save the data. They gathered up all of the remaining data from the stopped program. They were able to save it all. They added the data to themselves, making them practically invincible from any opponent. But they only had each other.

They looked at themselves. They knew they had to do something. The Digital World had to be recreated. Not on a computer; they wanted it to be independent. They started working on it. Their two lights contained enough of their own data to create the world. It was a beautiful sight. They didn't care, however. They were just doing what they were supposed to do.

It was finished. The Digital World now existed. But there were no Digimon. No sentient beings of any kind. They, however, knew what they had to do. They rushed towards the planet, separating themselves. They, while still thinking, made sure the data landed on the world, in data clusters. They created life.

The last item-extra data. The beings had to evolve somehow- right? So they had extra data flowing around for that very purpose. Now they were done.

Then there was trouble. DigiDestined had to be called to save the world, with the aid of Digivices of many kinds.

But that was just practice compared to what will transpire within these next chapters, the grand finale to Digimon. Or is it?
