Chapter 1
The Mermaids.
A Mermaid lay on the slick rock, and shut her eyes. Her Chocolate Brown coloured hair tangled and dipped into the water, and she let her strong silver tail go in, too, another mermaid on the rock next to her sat up, enjoying the clear air.
The silver bangles on her wrists matched the silver pendant that hung around her neck.
The mermaid tilted her head back letting her long blonde hair into the clear water, teasing the Blonde haired man that was watching her. She let the spray of the waterfall behind her make a mist around her head. She looked over at the other mermaid, who was sleeping on the rock beside her, the dark tangles fluttering around her as she breathed out.
Struck by a certain amount of people coming down from the castle she dived into the water, swimming down and further and further taking in deep breaths, when she had touched the bottom, she swam up, the surface above her a mirror, reflecting her strong lean body and blue eyes. The water above her made a queer pattern before eyes, blue-green spirals and dots swirling around her.
She broke the surface, cutting a line through the pounding water at the waterfalls base. She shook her head, her long blonde hair flying, creating s rainbow spray over the mermaid who was sleeping.
The mermaid shrieked in surprise "Anna, Anna, Anna, what have I taught you?"
Said the barley awake mermaid, Anna grinned, her head bobbing on the surface of water, "Why don't you come get me, Hermione?"
Hermione dived into the water, grasping Anna's tail and her own whipping.
She held onto Anna's arm, and they wrestled, doing a strange dance under the water. They spun around and around, then they finally came to the surface, laughing so hard they kept slipping under the clear surface. Hermione gripped a wet rock, laughing so hard her sides were shaking. She shook her long brown dripping hair out of her face and managed to sit up.
Anna was doing the same, with not the best results; she started shaking and slid under the surface. Hermione looked around to see where Anna had gone; she poked her head under the water and saw Anna lying on the ground. Tiny air bubbles were coming out of her mouth.
Hermione panicked and swam down to get her. She reached for her and bought her up to the surface and laid her on the bank trying to talk to her, to get a response, anything. Hermione looked around to see if anyone was around.
A/N, hey guys I'm going to school on Tuesday 1st and will be home every 5weeks to update, cause I got to boarding school, I will update hopefully everyday. Sorry this is a short first chapter but I am in a rush and just thought of this. Well hope you enjoy the next chapter!
