Those without a Bloodline Limit always thought that the Sharingan was all gift and no curse.
However, as both Hyuuga and Uchiha knew, it was easy to see what you would rather avoid.
The hands of a friend, plunging you into the river. Holding you down, your body will be frozen and unable to move. Too cold or too shocked or both.
So you watch, as a misty copy of your friend moves to drown you. He moves in an arch, as though diving. You can dodge. You should dodge, but even your trained reflexes do not save you from this betrayal.
Solid hands follow, gliding up the ethereal path to your throat. They continue to move, pushing your frozen body backwards until you hit the water.
The cold shoots up your body and paralyzes you further. You are unable to struggle. Even if you wanted to, your muscles have seized. Your lungs do not work, even though your body cries for air.
When you finally inhale you choke on the cold water. Your lungs burn as they are flooded.
You stare at eyes that mirror your own, wavering through the thick veil of the river. As you close your eyes you do not see the shift of black on red into a new shape.
I got this idea after reading chapter 230. I mean, how creepy would it be to see your own death? At first it was going to be about Sasuke or Itachi dying, but then I realized that it was perfect for Shisui! (And yes, in case I was too vague, this is about Itachi killing Shisui.)
I still think that the idea is better than the actual fic. It does seem a little far-fetched that Shisui, who was supposed to be super strong, wouldn't fight back. But then, how would you react if you saw your best friend was going to try and kill you?
