Chapter 1

A woman kneeled down, dipping her hands into the cold river. Upon splashing the cool water over her face, she stared long and hard into her reflection. Her soft black eyes stared back; hersilver/blackhair blowing across her face, a face to match the sadness and anger burning within. She wiped away the dripping water off her chin. Clenching her fists together in fury, she growled as the memories flooded back in her mind. She could already feel her sharp nails tearing harshly into her flesh.

"I'll get you for what you have done to me", she thought.

Closing her eyes tightly, she fought back the tears. But it was no use, the emotional pain returned as the tears began to stream down her cheeks. For a little while after, she calmed down. She gazed up into the beautiful, clouded sky; her eyes still moist. Then suddenly, a fire of rage ascended upon her eyes.
