Author's note: This is a continuation of the 2 part episode, "Aftershock." If you have not watched those episodes then you may not understand what is happening. Also, this first chapter is basically a recap of the ending of the 2nd part of "Aftershock."
Tara watched as Beast Boy left with the Teen Titans. She looked down at Slade's mask. She looked just in time to see it fall into the lava. Most likely melted by now in that intense heat. Tara focused on her friends for just a moment. Robin, Starfire, Raven, Cyborg, and... Beast Boy. Beast Boy... she knew he had feelings for her. He always made her happy. And he always believed in her. Then the moment was over.
She focused all her energy on closing the volcano. She pushed all her energy to the limit. She forced the earth beneath her. She pushed and she pushed. Then she saw that the volcano was closed. Then she tried to move her hands. She couldn't. Then she saw that her hands and feet were stone. She also saw that the stone was moving up her body. She screamed. But that was impossible now.
The city was normal. Beast Boy walked down to where Tara was. Or at least, her statue. Beast Boy was caring a plaque for her. When he and the rest of the team of the Teen Titans got there they started crying. Starfire placed flowers at the statue. Beast Boy placed down the plaque.
"We will find a way to reverse the...,"
Beast Boy wasn't listening. He was looking at Tara.
"Come on. Let's go."
Beast Boy looked at Tara.
"Good Bye Tara."
Beast Boy didn't turn his back to her until she was out of sight. He would bring her back. He promised he would bring her back.
