A little dity written about what Christine might have been thinking when she looked back at Erik as she rowed away from him with Roul at the end.

I would have stayed with you my angel.

But you pushed me away.

Crushed I go back to the other,

With silent tears I obey.

Forever to live with these endless longings.

Haunted by your tortured voice.

If you could only hear my hearts callings.

If you had only honored my choice.

Never to be with my angel.

Never again to let music fill my life.

What did I do to deserve this?

This pain which cuts like a knife.

Goodbye my friends and phantom.

Goodbye my angel of the night.

With a heavy heart and saddened song,

With an empty pain I walk into the light.

But every shadow will be you,
