I used to believe in the magic of a sunset. But being inprisoned in this
dark, dank cave, mr belief has...faltered. Stripe after stripe has been laid on
my back, and I have forgotten my old life.

"You failed me!!" my master had screamed in rage when I had returned from my
mission empty handed. Held by orcs and torture by orcs, that was the story of
my life since the slaughtering of Haldir's brothers(by my hand) and the assault
on Rivendell. But that was a month ago.

But this day, a new captive was thrown in my cell....

Normal POV
The teenager was afraid. What a dark, cold cell, was her reaction. Tears
still fresh on her cheeks, the already beautiful blonde began to crawl to what
she thought was an uninhabited corner. A hand suddenly shot out and grabbed her
shoulder.
"Where?!" he whispered hoarsly. "Where are you from?!"
"Rachel is my name and I am from a village south of Mirkwood." Rachel said.
"Mirkwood?" he said. "I know that name." After a moment of silence, he spoke
again. "And Dol Guldor?" She nodded. "Yesss. Wood elves."
"I gave my name...." she started.
"Nakido." he said quickly.
"Ah, Adunaic?"
"I am a Silvan elf! Not a human! I work for humans. Or, at least I did."
"How did you get captured." She questioned.
"I was ambushed."
So began a long question, answer, and telling session. He told her where he
lived. She told him about what was happening in the real world. Soon they
became friends.

One night Nakido was sleep talking.
"Aragorn..." he mumbled."Too risky.... LEGOLAS!" He shot up, sweating. He stood
up and stretched. With his back against the wall, he slid down. Head in hands,
he cried. Just cried. He felt a gentle hand on his shoulder. He gripped it.
"What is it?" Rachel said.
"Legolas."
"What?"
"ME! I am Legolas."
"You were the one that led the attack on Rivendell and killed Rumil and
Orophin!"
"YES! I killed Haldir brothers! I almost killed Elrond and his twins!" He became
quiet. "I killed my love."Rachel drew him into a hug. "I'm sorry." He whispered. "I didn't know."
He looked up. "Masterrrrr...." he rasped. "Nakma." He cocked his head and he let
go of her hand.
She turned. "Who are you?" He said nothing. "Let us go outside!"
"I miss the sunset...." Legolas croaked.
"Please." She fell to her knees and winced as her bare skin scraped against the
rock floor."Please." she pleaded. Nakma walked forward. He pulled out a knife.
Legolas looked up and shook his head.
"He almost killed me with that knife on our first encounter." he whispered in
her ear.
Nakma opened the door.
"The sun is setting." He said.
"Thankee, sir!" Rachel cried. "Thank you!" She turned to Legolas. "Come on!" He
lept up and followed her.
The sky was laced with purple and beautiful strokes of pink. And as the big
orange sun sank, and with the orc guards watching, Rachel and Legolas sat down
on the grass just outside the gate. Legolas put his head on her shoulder and
smiled for the first time in a month.
