Come to Me

Theresa Lopez-Fitzgerald was sitting alone in her room, when the familiar lyrics came on the radio…

When your baby leaves you all alone
And nobody calls you on the phone
Ah, don't you feel like crying?

"Damn straight I feel like crying. The one man I want has this twisted sense of obligation to his psycho of a wife. How can I compete with that woman anymore? And him…he played me for a fool! He took my love and used it! What the hell was I thinking?

Don't you feel like crying?
Well here I am my honey
Oh, come on you cry to me.

Taking the photo of the two of them from a previous time together, Theresa just stared into his blue eyes. "You said you loved me, that you'd always love me. Did you mean it?"

When you're all alone in your lonely room
And there's nothing but the smell of her perfume

Meanwhile, Ethan Winthrop was staring at the picture that haunted his dreams for so long. "My Theresa. Why is it that fate was supposed to bring us together, yet now it's tearing us apart again?" Putting her picture aside, Ethan turned on the TV, and saw the movie playing on HBO. "Dirty Dancing. It's your favorite movie, Theresa, and yet, I can't be there to watch it with you. Or, can I?" Forming a plan, Ethan quickly makes his way out of the house and heads to Theresa's.

Ah don't you feel like crying
Don't you feel like crying?
Ah don't you feel like crying?
Come on, come on cry to me.

Well nothing could be sadder
Than a glass of wine, all alone
Loneliness, loneliness, it's such a waiste of time
Oh-oh yeah

"Well, that singer has it right. Loneliness is a waste of time! I am a beautiful woman, damnit! I should be having fun, not moping over my lost love."

Hearing a tap on the window, Theresa jumps as she makes out the figure in the shadows. Opening the window, she stares into Ethan's eyes. "What do you want?"

You don't ever have to walk alone, oh you see
Oh come on, take my hand and baby won't you walk with me?
Oh ya

Staring at her mocha eyes, Ethan takes a deep breath. "I want…you."

"Well, you should have thought of that before all this happened. You're married, remember?"

When you're waiting for a voice to come
In the night and there is no one
Ah don't you feel like crying? (cry to me)
Don't you feel like crying? (cry to me)

Watching Theresa's eyes glisten over as the lyrics play, Ethan sits on the edge of her window, and remembers….

Flashback

"You want to know something crazy?" Theresa asked as she ran her fingers through Ethan's hair."

"What?"

"This movie…well…let's just say it gets me in the mood…especially this part."

"Oh, really?" Ethan asks as he begins to kiss her neck."

"Oh, yeah."

End Flashback

"I know, Theresa. I know what you're feeling right now."

"You have no idea, Winthrop."

As Theresa walks to the other side of the room, Ethan quickly makes his way into her room, and then reaches for her. "You want to bet?" Before he gives her a chance to answer, Ethan quickly takes Theresa's face into his hands, and kisses her deeply.

Ah don't you feel like a-ca-ca-cra-co-cra-co-cra-cra, (cry to me)
Cra-co-cra-co-cra-cra crying? (cry to me)
Ah don't you feel like a-cra-co-cra-co-cra-cra,
Cra-co-cra-co-cra-cra crying

Giving into temptation, Theresa wraps her arms around Ethan's neck, and begins to moan. "We can't do this." She whispers.

"Yes, we can. You're all I want, Theresa. You know it, and I know it. Let me stay here tonight, and make love to you, the way we both need…"

"And what about tomorrow?"

"We'll deal with it."

Giving into her desire, Theresa kisses Ethan again, and soon, clothes are discarded, and Ethan and Theresa fall into her bed, where they spend the rest of the night making love to each other.

The End
