Not MINE!

In an entirely OTHER part of the castle

A ballroom filled with many elegant people. A man has just entered nonchalant, as if balls are nothing new, and as everyday as brushing his platinum blonde hair. His steely gray eyes search the room. They land on a brunette with her hair in a French twist in the corner, sitting alone, watching the other couples. He makes his way over to her and holds out a hand.

"Malfoy." He states smoothly, "Draco Malfoy. And you are?"

"Hermione Granger." Is the silky reply, "The pleasure is yours, I'm sure."

He smirks. "Shall we?" he queries while gesturing to the dance floor.

"Why, of course, Mr. Malfoy." She rises, her long white gown falling into place. She looks breathtaking, the gown accenting her brown eyes, which are also brought out by the amber necklace she wears.

They dance. The two seem lost to the world, as if only the other existed. They don't notice the stares and earth meets steel and is held.

"AHHHHHHHH!"

Draco Malfoy fell out of bed, what an awful nightmare. He had been dancing with Granger, touching GRANGER. He looked around, noticing his roommates asleep.

"Thank Salazar, it was only a dream."

OK, so, there's chapter two. Although, technically, it's more of part two of the prologue. And that's only IF I decide to continue, which I'm vaguely considering.

Lates,

Ritsi.

NOTE: This is a repost. Thanks to NotreDamegirlie and dragonsmartypants for telling me about her eye color, I wasn't sure it had ever been verified in the books as brown. I always thought it was a fandom thing. Also, the dreams were the same dream, from either perspective. I'll update soon, I hope.
