Summary: This is a poem written by Hermione at a point in her life when everything's messed up; the darker side of her life that she's kept hidden from view. Her parent's have broken up and her sister (for the point of this poem she has one) has run away with her boyfriend. She can't take the pain or hurt any longer, why is this happening to her?! So Perfect?
Mother you broke me.
Father, you cared?
Sister you helped me -
Fall down the stairs.
A perfect little family
I thought that's what we were.
The perfect house we lived in
Fallen down; the rubble caught in my hair.
You broke up; broke the family apart
We're shattered now
A million pieces spread so far apart.
No one to hear us scream or shout,
The prefect little family came out.
It was a fraud, a shame
My sister left for him again.
Daddy did you have to go; and marry again?
Mother did you have to shout;
Claim you never loved him anyway;
You say it all without a doubt.
Childhood.
You broke my perfect childhood.
The image once alight
Now dark and sinister -
No flame in sight.
Used me, you abused me
All of you in your own special way.
You hurt me; can't convert me
To make all your stupid mistakes again.
Broken; I'm lying shattered here,
Unable to feel the love I wish to feel,
Emotionless I feel so strange.
There's no "me" left to try and be your friend,
I fear.
Perfect.
You thought I was so perfect.
Everyone admired me so,
But now you can see where it all went wrong.
Cause now my shell is broken
Lying empty on the blood-stained floor.
