MOVIE: The Matrix
Neo and Morpheus stood in a blank, white room with only a few items of furniture that you would normally find in a living room.
"This is the construct," said Morpheus, "It's our loading program. We can load anything from clothing, to equipment, weapons, training simulations, anything we need."
"Right now we're inside a computer program?" asked a puzzled Neo.
"Is it really so hard to believe? Your clothes are different. The plugs in your arms and head are gone. Your hair is changed. Your appearance now is what we call residual self image. It is the mental projection of your digital self."
"This...this isn't real?"
CROSSOVER
Everything suddenly disappeared. Neo was still standing in a white room, but nothing was around him.
"Morpheus? Where did you go?"
No answer.
"Come on…you'd better be pulling a trick or something 'cause if you aren't…well…actually, this was kinda awkward from the beginning…"
Neo waited for about ten minutes. Nothing. He started to walk around. He was reminded of a song.
"In a white room…with black curtains…is the station…"
Then he got an idea. He took a pen from his pocket and placed it on the ground. Then he ran away from it.
He ran for a whole hour.
He saw a dot in the distance. He ran toward it. He was out of breath now. He kept running until he could make out what the object was.
It was a pen stuck to the ceiling.
Puzzled, Neo kept running. An hour later, he came across the pen, but now it was on the floor again. He reached for the back of his head, but remembered that he had no holes there. He was keeping some of his change in there, because of the lack of room in his pockets.
"Oh well."
Neo picked up the pen and wrote on his arm 'Note to self-Get out of here!' Then he sat down on the floor.
Then another figure appeared in the room.
