Late rainy Friday night the bustling town of Tree Hill is at still as Karen closes up the café. The door opens up showing a soaking wet Lucas and another person. This other person looks about Lucas's age she had black hair slick down from the rain a white tank top covered by what looked like Lucas's gray sweatshirt and baggy black pants.
"Hey Mom", Lucas said as he grabbed 2 towels from behind the counter.
"Hey Luke who's your um friend?" Karen asked suspiciously.
"Hi I'm Toni, Toni Senicale." She said
Karen's face went pale white and just stared at Toni. All of a sudden Karen's mind went blank the café seemed to disappear and in place was an instant replay of her giving birth she heard every minuet first Lucas came out. Then 1 minute later came his twin Toni she put her up for adoption and now she is here.
"Mom hello?" Lucas waved his hand in front of Karen's face as she snapped back to reality and dragged Luke into the kitchen. "Mom?" Lucas asked with a puzzling look.
"Luke you need to promise me you won't date her. Promise me?" Karen sympathetically begged.
"Why not? Tell me please." Lucas asked starting on his last nerve. Karen walked into the back room of the café and came out holding 2 pieces of paper and showed them to Lucas.
"It's your birth certificate and Toni's." Lucas read over the papers and he saw time of birth he was born April15 at 1:07 AM and Toni was born at 1:08 AM. Then he saw at the bottom of Toni's certificate there was an asterisk and a note that read "Was adopted by Adam and Alexsis Senicale."
"So Toni is my little sister and Nathan's older half sister. Perfect" Lucas said finally pissed of.
"Luke don't say anything to her only to Nathan please?"
"Sure Mom no problem." Lucas walked out and found Toni in one of his shirts.
"Oh sorry I hope you don't mind I found this under the counter and just threw it on." Toni said with a shy smile.
"No problem" Lucas replied to her.
"I gotta get home now thanks for the walk Luke."
"No problem. So you have family here?"
"Nah my adoptive parents split up and my dad died and my mom is a junkie so I'm on my own."
"Oh I'm sorry."
"Don't be, bye see you another time."
"Bye."
