A/N: A poem I came up with while watching Wolf's Rain. Unfortunately, I'm not a poet, and of course I do know it... hey! I made a rhyme, I did a crime! Wow, I really am a poet, and I didn't even know it! Hehe... okay, enough of that. But seriously, this might be terrible since I've never really done poetry. Enjoy...?
"Paradise"
Someone take me to
paradise
The land I long for that
exist only in my dreams
Someone lead me there
Help me escape the
insanity
I've dreamed and dreamed
for an eternal time
Longing for serenity in
this relentless mind
Wishing for a calm to come
upon
A peaceful tide to flow in
on
There may not be a
paradise, I know
But something within me
pushes me to go
To go to a place of
satisfaction
A place where my
nightmares go away
Where my pain is missing
in action
And all the displeasure is
gone astray
Come take me to this long
lost place
Put your hand in mine and
lead the way
Let us follow the path and
keep pressing forward
Don't stop until we get
there
Got to keep moving toward
Come now, paradise is near
There may not be a
paradise, I know
But I believe, and I will
go
I'll go, I know it's near
I'll go without any fear
Where the fields are more
than paper flower
And ugly memories aren't
anywhere near
Where there is no rain
But plants keep growing
Where ther is no pain
And no hurt is showing
Take me to paradise
