Ok this is a one-shot. Please, I'm begging for a little criticism.

Raven sat on the roof, meditating. She was trying, unsuccessfully, to get her mind off a certain someone. It was no use; she sighed and landed gracefully on the roof. "I need to check on my herbs" she thought out loud.

She went over to the edge of the roof and jumped off, her powers catching her a scant inch from the ground.

"Oh my God, Raven!" Robin yelled from the roof. He had arrived just in time to see her jump. The Goth looked up and caught her breath, 'stay in control,' she told herself.

Out loud she said, "What?"

"Are you okay?"

"If I wasn't would I be talking to you?" she said icily. Raven created a black disk and sent it up to the boy wonder, who walked on. The disk disappeared under his feet after it hit the ground.

Robin actually looked angry, "What the heck were you thinking?! Jumping off the roof? I thought you were…"

"…committing suicide?" Raven finished, "I just wanted to check on my garden."

"But still, you could have hurt yourself," Robin protested.

"So are you going to put me in time out or what?" Raven said, feigning anger.

Robin blushed, "Uh, no, I…umm…sorry."

The girl regarded her leader under the safety of her hood, 'If only I could tell you…' she thought. But she would never admit to that. So instead, she turned her back to him and set about weeding her beloved garden.

"Are you alright Raven?" Robin asked.

"I thought we already had this conversation."

"That's not what I mean and you know it." Robin knelt next to the psychic, "Is something bothering you?"

"No." 'It's only that my heart is breaking in half since I'm too afraid to tell you what I feel.' A tear trickled down her cheek.

"You're crying," Robin said in amazement, "You never cry, something must be wrong."

"Nothing's wrong, go away," Raven said, her voice harsh from the emotion she usually kept hidden away. "You wouldn't understand."

Robin placed his hand on her cheek and turned her face toward his. He looked in her amethyst eyes, "Try me."

Looking at the absolute trust in his eyes made Raven's heart melt. She threw her arms around his neck and cried.

Robin just sat there with the ice queen Raven in his lap, watching her melt. She was so beautiful to him, especially when she showed some emotion. His heart had almost stopped when he watched her jump off the building. Now, he finally plucked up the courage to do one thing.

He kissed her hair. Raven froze in his arms and looked up. Her mouth was hanging open in shock and her eyes held joy. Robin leaned forward and their lips met in a kiss. Hot sweetness raced through his mouth, this was so perfect. He drew back and once again met Raven's surprised face. Robin laughed and wiped away the tear-stains on her cheek. Raven grabbed his hand and pulled him forward for another pure kiss.

When they pulled away again, Raven couldn't say anything. So many things rushed through her mind but only one made it to her mouth, "Wow."

And laughing together, they went inside.
