Spike opened his eyes with a weary sigh. His whole body ached. He could smell his own blood lingering in the air; he could smell pain, fear and… vanilla? He went to sit up and groaned in pain lying back down. He looked over at the bloody chains on the ceiling and the pools of blood under it. The irritating beeping sound rang his ears.
Buffy clicked open the microwave and took the container of blood out, she reached for a long, clear glass and went to pour the thick liquid into it when she noticed the alcohol in the glass. She rolled her eyes and moved to the sink, cleaning out the cup and then pouring the warm liquid in.
She could hear Spike's frustrated growls and pain-filled moans. Buffy grabbed the glass, and walked slowly into the bedroom part of the crypt. She placed the cup down next to Spike as he stared at her in shock.
Spike looked up at her, blinking a few times, wondering if he was dead, the psycho slayer did kill him and this was some kind of… place between heaven and hell. This couldn't be Buffy, it was too good. "Buffy?" He choked out.
Buffy turned to him, "You need to eat something." Buffy explained, "It will help you heal faster." She took the cup and held it out in front of him.
Spike reached for it with his undamaged arm, he took a long, greedy, swallow of the liquid. He looked at Buffy who wrinkled her nose; he must have vamped for a second. He usually did when he drank. Wasn't his fault. "Wh…why are you here?" Spike finally asked.
"Who did this?" She asked, avoiding his question.
"Your psycho slayer pal." Spike answered, "We shagged and I woke up chained to the bleedin' wall." He explained. "The chit is bloody crazy."
"That's why we're afraid of what she'll do." Buffy explained, she sat down on the bed and took the half empty cup out of his hand, "We need to bandage them," Buffy whispered. "Where's the stuff?"
"I-I don't have anything." Spike said, "It'll heal on its own." Spike promised, "Good to be a vamp." The he noticed it, the blanket touching him… all of him. He looked at her, "Love, where are my pants?"
Buffy suddenly felt heat rush to her cheeks and her eyes found his legs, "They were covered in blood." Buffy explained dully, "Had… to um… get them off."
Spike had imagined Buffy taking his pants off, dozens of times. Lots of different ways. But never like this, usually she was naked already and panting with want. He was never unconscious. "Right." Spike said, he went to grab the cup again but he hollered in pain moving his damaged arm.
Buffy's eyes widened. "Stay still!" She ordered. "God you're like a three year old!" She said and without thinking brought the cup to his lips, letting him drink down the liquid.
Spike's eyes flashed yellow, but the rest of his features stayed human, his eyes turned blue again when the glass was empty and Buffy was staring at him, eyes never leaving his. "Pet?" He said into the cup.
Buffy snapped out of her daze and put the cup down, "Sorry, just… never saw a vampire…" She stopped, "Nothing." She said standing and brushing off her pants. "I called Willow." Buffy said, "She should be here in about an hour." She explained, "She's coming with some spell books, to um… numb the pain."
Spike nodded, "Right, so then… you'll be off now?"
"No." Buffy answered, "If Faith comes back I wanna be here." She said simply.
An uncomfortable silence.
"A-are you still hungry?" Buffy asked in a small voice, "I could heat you some blood." She told him. "If should—I mean, Giles says it makes you guys heal faster." Buffy explained, "It might just be human blood." She said, "I'm not that sure about that kinda stuff."
"Helps if it's human, but… animal will do fine."
Buffy nodded and walked away again, cup in hand. Spike watched her walk in and sighed, what the bloody hell world did he wake up in? He leaned back and closed his eyes, then he heard a gasp, he opened his eyes to see Willow was standing there, facing him, her bag falling to the floor, "Oh my…" She whispered. "Goddess."
Spike smiled shakily at the witch, "Hey, Red." He said lightly.
She moved closer to the bed, slowly, "Um. Where's Buffy?"
"There." Spike said nodding the opposite way.
Willow looked at his chest, and hissed, "Goddess, Spike, who…?"
-
"I found it!" Willow said happily and moved to Spike's bed, "You're going to have to give me your hand." She said, "This will… speed up the healing process." She explained, "As much as magic can."
Spike lifted his hand painfully and Willow grasped it. Willow looked at Buffy and she extended her hand as well. Willow grabbed it and a light cleared out the crypt. In the split second it went on it stopped, Buffy found herself watching Spike to see if he was any better.
Willow stepped away from the blonds watching, she knew what she'd done. She'd linked them to each other, it was the only spell she could find that would work even half as well as she wanted to. Buffy agreed to it.

Buffy walked into the house, "Mom! I'm home!" She said loudly walking into the house to see her mother and Riley sitting in the living room, they both stood.
"Buffy! Gosh! I was worried sick!" Joyce proclaimed, "Where have you been—was it Faith?"
Buffy sighed and put her jacket down, getting gasps from both people in the room, "B-Buffy, that's not… it's not your blood—"
"Oh… no." Buffy explained. "Actually it's Spike's."
Worry flickered before Joyce's eyes, "Well, is he alright?"
Buffy nodded, "He's alright, we um… did a spell."
-
"Bye mom! Be safe!" Buffy watched as her mother climbed into the car and she shut the front door and looked at Riley, he was smiling at her and she felt guilt. Didn't know why, but she did. "Hey." She smiled.
"Hey." He cupped her cheek and kissed her lightly on the lips and frowned, pulled back, when he noticed she didn't kiss him back. "What's wrong?"
"Nothing." Buffy answered, "I… I don't feel good." She explained. "I'm gonna take a shower and then head to bed."
"Shower alone?" He pouted.
Buffy rolled her eyes, "Yes alone."
Riley nodded "alright." He said turning to get his jacket.
"R-Riley!" Buffy yelped and he turned suddenly to her, "Wha-what's that?" She stuttered moving to him and pointing to the bite marks on his neck.
He quickly covered them with his hands, "Nothing, Buffy, a vamp just got a bite out of me." He explained, "That's all."
"That's all?" Buffy asked dumb struck, "Did the vamp get away? Did you—"
"I dusted it, right a proper, it's gone with the wind, Buffy, don't worry."

Buffy stepped into the shower, letting the water cover her body. She closed her eyes, enjoying the feel of it on her. She moved into it, wetting her hair. Closing her eyes, when she opened them she noticed the shower door slide open and Spike walk in. She was shocked.
And confused.
He was healed completely.
He smiled softly at her and cupped her cheek. Buffy didn't move away. She let him. He leaned in kissing her gently; she kissed him back, wrapping her arms around his neck. He pushed her against the shower wall, the water trickling down his back and chest.
Buffy's hands roamed the front of his chest feeling out each muscle underneath her fingertips. "Spike," She moaned when he broke the kiss, "Wha?" She moaned again, a pleasure filled moan when his lips moved to her neck, kissing, licking, nipping.
"Hmmm, Spike." She whispered, "I want you," she let him kiss her again, letting his tongue landscape the inside of her mouth. She wanted him. All of him. "Spike," She whispered looking up into his crystal blue eyes.
He looked down at her, smiled, "Yeah, pet?" He whispered back. The first words he'd said the whole time.
"D-don't leave me." She whispered.
"Don't worry, kitten, never gonna leave you." He promised.
Buffy shot into sitting position and looked around, panting; she was in her bed, surrounded by the darkness of her room. She closed her eyes, laying back, willing herself to continue the dream. Her eyes widened thinking about the dream. Spike! Not Riley! What was she thinking!
