AN: this is another one of the poems I wrote a while ago. Long while ago and decided to post, I know they are raw, and most are just as I wrote them. Long story short, they were just my thought in poem form. This poem is yet again loosely based on Buffy and Angel, this one is from Buffy's POV. Anyway read and review. And for those of you who read my stories, I am working on updating them. Two out of three stories will probably be updated this months, and one story will get finished. Well with out further adieu….on with the poem.
The broken promises.
You promised me forever.
You promised, you would never leave,
Not even if I killed you.
You promised to be there, right by my side
No matter what.
And yet—you left.
Left me behind.
You left and took forever with you.
You left—and left me with the shattered pieces of my heart.
You left and took my dreams with you.
You left, and it was,
It was, as if you were never there, to begin with.
