This is my first one-shot fic. So enjoy! I know it's before Valentine's Day but who gives a damn!

Believe:
"C'mon Boone! Hurry up!" Lexi shouted.
The date was February 14th aka Valentine's Day.
Boone had a Valentine surprise for Lexi.
Boone and Lexi drove downtown.
Laughing, talking, singing.
That's what they were doing.
Think about the love inside the strength of heart
Think about the heroes saving live in the dark
Climbing higher through the fire
Time was running out
Never knowing you weren't going to be coming down alive
"Close your eyes." Boone commanded.
"Where are you taking me?" Lexi asked.
"I'll tell ya soon." Boone answered.
But you still came back for me
You were strong and you believed

Boone parked the car.
"Hold on." he said.
He got out of the car and opened Lexi's door.
"Can I open my eyes now?" Lexi asked.
Lexi got out of the car.
"Okay, now!" Boone said.
Lexi opened her eyes and, " Oh, Boony." she said happily.
"This is the place wherewe met." Boone said.
Think about the chance I never had to say
Thank for giving up your life at day
Never fearing only hearing voices calling out
Let it all go the life that you know
Just to brigm them down alive
And you still came back for me
You were strong and you believed
"Remember you came at the perfecttime. My Mom died, Dad moved out and I was alone." Lexi said.
She started crying.
"Don't cry." Boone said calmly.
He went over and hugged her.
"Boone, you the greatest guy I ever met." Lexi said trying to pull back the tears.

"Before you can to town I was a ghost." Lexi said, "Didn't have any friends, no loving parents, no nothing."
"Well it's all different now cuz you got me!" Boone said with a smile.
Lexi started giggling which made her feel a bit better.
Wanna hold my wife when I get home
Wanna tell the kids they'll never know
How much I love to see them smile
Wanna make a change right here right now
Wanna live a life like you some how
Wanna make your sacrifice worthwhile
"Boone," Lexi said, "I love you. You're my best friend in the whole entire world."
Boone was surprised.
They were just friends, best friends but Lexi was willing to take it further.
"I love you too baby." Boone said.
"Baby?" Lexi questioned.
Boone shrugged.
They both ended the night with a romantic kiss.
Boone stopped and got a rose and gave it to Lexi.
They stood up and continued kissing.
