The Original Charlie and Tonks Story

Chapter 1: The Beginning

Where to start, even begin? At the beginning of course, but when exactly was the beginning? We knew each other in school, then when we both worked for the Order but we didn't get really close until that summer, summer 2005….

Here I was, Grimmauld Place for another year, not that it was a chore, far from that, and I loved it. Seeing everyone, it somehow made up for everything that was going on around us, the inevitable war, it seemed somewhat normal, at least for a time. So here I was, knocking on the front door, sporting a brand new hair style I knew no one had ever seen. It wasn't my once favourite pink spikes or my cascading black curly hair or even red Weasley like hair (not that there was anything wrong with it, it was just funny when you wanted to play a trick on them!), it was my own hair, not metamorphosed at all, left normal, and in fact all of me was my normal self.

You may be asking yourself the question I was asking myself back then, the reason was of course two reasons. One I trusted everyone and I wanted to be me, myself and I had time to think about it and I wanted to reveal my true identity, I didn't see any harm in it. They had often asked me to do it before, but now I was actually doing it for the first time, and I admit I was scared out of my mind.

So, you may be wondering what exactly I look like, well…here goes.

Chapter 2: The Beginning of the beginning

Charlie's point of view

I opened the door to someone who looked vaguely familiar but I still couldn't tell who exactly it was. She had shoulder length, wavy, dark blonde hair. A heart shaped face with beautiful eyes which looked like sparkling dark sapphires and were now light up with happiness. She grabbed me into a fierce but familiar hug and I uttered a small "Nymph?"

"Yes it's me! Did you recognise me?"

"Well, you looked vaguely familiar but no, I didn't know it was you, how have you been?"

We continued to make small talk and make each other laugh but I couldn't get over her appearance, it certainly took guts to come out as you, but as a metamorph it was even harder, she was bloody brave. I was taken away by her, we had always had certain chemistry and had been friends in Hogwart's but it was different now, I think I felt something more.

Nymph's point of view

As soon as I had knocked on the door someone answered it and I secretly wished it was him, it was! He looked just as good as he always did, grown out red hair, sun tanned skin, sparkling aqua marine blue eyes, freckles everywhere, I just couldn't believe it!
