Have we enough to keep it together

Or do we just keep on pretending

and hope our luck is never ending

"Shut the hell up, Potter," Draco hissed, "you don't know what you're talking about."

"Don't I?" Harry replied with equal venom.

"It wasn't me, you git."

"Of course not, it never is," Harry shot back scathingly.

"It's the goddamn truth, Potter! You never listen! You always have to be such a fucking pansy about everything, believing every bit of gossip that you hear-"

"STOP IT!" Harry yelled.

"Stop what?" Draco snapped.

"LYING! I'm so sick of all the lies, Draco. Tell me the TRUTH for once."

"I'm not your friend, Potter. You want honesty, then go to your precious little Gryffs and cry on THEIR shoulders, not mine."

"But—"

"I'm not your friend. I never was." Draco turned his back and made for the door.

"I saw you with her, you know," Harry said suddenly, "I didn't just hear it from someone else."

Draco sighed and whipped around. "And WHAT exactly was I allegedly seen doing?"

"You…" Harry struggled to keep his voice steady. "You were fucking her. And…you were liking it."

Draco let out an uncharacteristic guffaw.

"It's not funny," Harry nearly shouted.

"It's not TRUE!" Draco insisted.

"You can't deny something when you're caught red-handed, for Merlin's sake! Especially if that hand is TOUCHING A GIRL!" Harry roared.

"Jealous," Draco muttered.

"Obviously!" Harry hissed, "You're mine."

"I wasn't aware you owned me, Potter."

"You've always been mine. And I'm yours."

"Well, bravo, you've just managed to murder me by way of soppiness, Potter."

"I thought you loved me, Draco," Harry said angrily.

The blonde smirked slowly, giving the other boy a once-over. He stalked towards Harry and draped his arms about the dark-haired boy's hips.

"I never—" Draco kissed the other boy's jaw. "—ever—" He let his lips graze Harry's pulse. "—fucked—" He ran his fingers down Harry's chest. "—Pansy Parkinson-" The blonde began to unbuckle the Gryffindor's belt. "–got it?"

Harry murmured something incoherent, which Draco interpreted as a sign of assent. Because Draco was a Slytherin, and Slytherins always got their way.

Two mouths met, and the whole world fell away for just that moment.

When it came to Draco Malfoy, Harry didn't always do what he knew was right.

I know you lie

but I'm still in love with you…

…no, you can't stand me now…
