Hey everyone, was watching Invincible and Steven Universe lately, though I try it out after reading the comics and seeing the potential of the Crytal gems, I'm aware the original gems would have no change against some of the threats in the Invincible verse, but these gems are from the invincible verse as well, so it should be even, hopefully.
Cecil was looking at his phone as he swiped through multiple articles on how the Teen team saved the city, the aliens defeated, people healed from Rosé but the most important one is the Guardians of the Globe missing.
"Your kids did good, Robot" Cecil said walking through the area filled with dead aliens and rusty alien technology, the global defence agency is sweeping the place for any and all alien involvement as they try to figure out what the hell was going on.
"Thank you Cecil" Robot follows behind Cecil as they pass members taking dead alien bodies and technology.
"While it is an honor to assist the GDA to call the team kids is condescending," Robot said, not liking his team being called kids as Cecil turned to him with crossed arms.
"Do you know how many people died here yesterday?" Cecil asked him,
"245, 245 and they only stopped because these assholes ran away" Cecil said pointing at the dead aliens.
"The Flaxans" Robot corrected.
"The what?" Cecil asked as Robot walked forward.
"They call themselves the Flaxans, I was able to reverse their language using recording from the battle" Robot explains to him.
"Any idea why they left when they were kicking our asses?" Cecil asked, Robot turned to him.
"Didn't Rosé send a few Flaxan prisoners to you? '' Robot said, remembering Rosé captured a few Flaxan when they left, Cecil signs in irritation.
"As soon as we moved them they teleported away, slippery bastards," Cecil said, who was happy to get prisoners only for them to teleport away.

They both turn to a metal groaning as they watch a crane lift up a very rusty tank until it breaks and falls on the ground.
POWWWWAAAAAA
The tank hits the ground making a dusting impact.
"I believe I have one theory" Robot walks over to the decaying tank and pulls a piece of it with little difficulty.
"Oxidised and corroded, for alloys like this, it should take years" Robot analysed, crushing the rusty metal as Cecil figures it out.
"Time ran faster whenever they came from, they ran off cause they were dying of old age" Cecil said looking at the rotting alien corpses.
"And Rosé was able to protect and heal them" Robot noting remembering Rosé bubbles protected them from ageing, as Cecil narrows his eyes.
"Best keep him away from these guys, they capture Rosé, who knows what will happen" Cecil said gravely, turning to Robot.
"How the new kid do?" Cecil asked,
"Invincible? He has promise but seems unprepared for the more realistic aspects of being a superhero" Robot noted as the piece of metal rusted to dust in his hands.
"Well he better toughen up, I'm going to need his help" Cecil said, turning to teleport away.
"Why is that?" Robot wonders seeing Cecil teleport away.

Mark was feeling down, after the shit show he did when that alien invasion happen he froze up, and so many people die, cause of him. Even worse, his dad in hospital and the Guardians of the Globe are dead, his father being a survivor of the fight.
Mark looks down as he bumps into a few people in the hallways of his high school.
"Hey, watch it dick" some guy said as Mark bumps into him as he moves aimlessly, not even looking up
"Mark, Mark, MAARKKK" His best friend William, as Mark look at him with sad eyes.
"Are you ok?" William asked, seeing the sadness in Mark's eyes
"My dad got hurt, he was attacked" Mark said to William, shocked.
"What? Are you kidding, is he ok?" William asked concern for Mark's father.
"He's in hospital, they're going all they can, but it messed up, he really hurt" Mark explains vaguely about the attack, finding it hard to explain to his best friend about his superhero identity.
"Jesus, I'm so sorry" William said, sorry for what happened to his father, giving his best friend support.
"Did they catch the guy who did it?" William asked but Mark shakes his head.
"No, not yet" Mark said,
"Well anything you need I'm here for you, you need to talk or you are hungry for lasagne, I'll listen and make you a good one, for you and Debby" William offers as Mark looks to his side with recognition.
"Eve Wilkins and Steven Universe" Mark looks to see a Red headed girl talking to a happy guy with curly brown hair.
"What? Yeah , that's them" William said as Mark looked at them and recognised them from before.
"I need to talk to them" Mark said as William smiles,
"Yeah you and every other straight boy, I would love to talk to Steven though, you see how curly his hair is, amazing" William said dreamily, seeing Steven but Mark too focus on them.
"I heard they were dating once, but they don't act it and it's hard to tell, didn't you get your ass kicked for Amber" William said to him but Mark walks up to them.
"Um hi, I'm" Mark tries to introduce himself to them.
"Oh hey, Mark, right?" Eve said,
"Greyson," Mark said as Steven smiled.
"Nice to meet you Mark Greyson, names Steven" Steven smiles holding out his hand as Mark smiles and shakes it.
"Yeah, nice to meet you too, I guess, thanks for saving my but back there, yesterday I mean" Mark said, grateful, to their confusion.
"Your but? What happened yesterday?... I was at home doing homework and watching a game….porn….something" Steven said, looking around with shifty eyes, trying to not look suspicious.
But it made Mark confused by his actions.
"Yesterday, ohhhhh, that was you, in the blue and yellow" Eve realised who Mark was but Steven didn't give anything.
"You saw him yesterday wearing blue and yellow, I mean he is still wearing blue and yellow now" Steven pointed out as Mark raised an eyebrow.
"Imm aaaa Invisible" Mark whispers to them but Steven looks at him.
"I thought your name was Mark" Steven asked as Mark looked at him but Eve smiled.
"That's a little optimistic," Eve said about Mark's name.
"I'm Atom Eve, but everyone calls me Eve" Eve whispers to Mark, Steven looks alarmed.
"Eve, you can't tell him your secret, you just meet him, she crazy don't believe her" Steven said with worry as he looked at Mark, waving his hands around trying to distract him while trying to say Eve was crazy.
"Mark is a superhero too, he was there when the invasion yesterday" Eve explains to him with amusement as Steven looks at Mark.
"Really, you don't look like him" Steven said, missing the obvious.
"Steven I'm Invincible" Mark whispers to him but Steven doesn't believe him.
"Nope sorry, I don't see it" Steven shakes his head, not believing Mark is Invisible. Eve smiles at the two.
"Don't worry about him, you want to talk about yesterday, you look like you need to talk" Eve said seeing Mark looking a little down.
"Come on Steven" Eve said, pulling Mark's arm as Steven looked freaked out.
"You really shouldn't tell everyone your secret Eve, normal Eve is not Atom Eve" Steven said, concerned for her as he quickly follows behind them, failing at convincing Mark that Eve is not Atom Eve.
"Is he always like this?" Mark asked Steven, giving him 'I'm watching you look'.
"He is a good guy, just naïve but really friendly," Eve said as Steven walked beside them.
"I'm watching you Mark, secret identity is important" Steven said, narrowing his eyes at him as Mark held his hands in surrender.
"Just show him later, he'll believe you, hopefully" Eve said, knowing Steven for a while now, as they head out.
"Didn't you get punched a day ago, like a lot" Steven said, recalling something as he has a thinking look.
"Yeah, Todd, punch me a lot, didn't feel a thing" Mark said, a little happy the bully can't hurt him anymore.
"You must be tough, but if you need healing let me know" Steven said to him, Mark looks at him weirdly.
"I wasn't hurt at all Steven" Mark said but Steven gave him a smile.
"Don't worry Mark, there's no shame in admitting you got hurt, it's actually better saying you hurt then holding it in" Steven said to him, giving him a pat on the shoulder.
"You'll get used to him," Eve said with a smile as the boys followed her outside to the football field.
Eve looks around, seeing no one in the area, used her powers to fly up the building,
"Ok now you know Eve is Atom Eve, you better keep it a secret, or I'll neuralyze you" Steven said, pointing at him.
"You have a neuralyzer? Thats real?" Mark said, having seen MIB a few times and is surprised it exists.
"Of course it is, you can make anything with hard work and determination" Steven said as Mark smiled at that.
"No need for that Steven" Mark smiles as he flies in the air, as Steven gasps in shock.
"Would he believe me now?" Mark asks Eve as she watches him fly up the building.
"Maybe, you have to be obvious with him," Eve said, shrugging as both Mark and Eve watched to see Steven jump up high in the air and land on the roof.
"Wooow Mark you can fly, that amazing, you can be a superhero" Steven said in excitement, Mark raised a brow at that.
"Steven I am a superhero, costume and everything" Mark tries to say but Steven looks excited.
"Costume, yeah you need a cool costume and a name too" Steven said as Mark and Eve signed at Steven with a smile.
"Don't worry Steven, Mark got a costume and name ready for him" Eve said as Mark looks at her, she give him 'just go with it look'
"Ok, that cool Mark, you'll be an amazing hero" Steven said as Mark smiles at that but then looks down at the mention of being a hero.
"What's wrong Mark?" Steven asked, sitting down next to Mark as Eve sat the other side of him.
"I've just got my powers, that was my first big fight" Mark said, feeling down about the invasion yesterday.
"Ah, that explains it, you did a good start for a rookie" Eve said, seeing it before as Steven nodded to her.
"Are you kidding? I froze out there People got hurt" Mark said,
"People escaped because of you" Eve said to him, making him feel better.
"Everyone freeze on their first time, I froze the first time someone got injured, there was so much blood that it terrified me so much I forgot how to use my powers for a bit" Steven spoke from personal experiences, fighting corrupted gems was one thing but fighting normal people was another.
"I used to throw up before every fight" Eve empathised as well; her own first time wasn't her greatest moment either.
"Really you two?" Mark asked, seeing them fight on TV and saw how powerful they were.
"You get used to it, the fighting not barfing" Eve smiles as Mark goes, Steven looks confused.
"I don't ever recall barfing, what's that like?" Steven asked them,
"It's your guts are coming out of you month" Eve said with a cheeky grin,
"That gross" Steven gave a look of disgust as Eve and Mark had a slight smile, but Mark stopped smiling and looked far out.
"It wasn't what I expected, I thought I would fight some aliens then they go home" Mark said, finding the more realistic aspect more daunting to him.
"Not how it looks on TV" Eve said, Steven nods while looking out.
"I'm surprised I didn't recognise you two till now" Mark said, though it was obvious because Steven and Eve don't wear masks so it should be easy to find them.
"It's weird too, I tied a mask a few times until it got destroyed and yet people didn't even notice me" Steven said, having a mask once when superheroine but it kept getting destroyed and people still didn't find him.
"It's a psychological thing, you don't expect to see a superhero, you don't see a superhero" Eve said to them why they don't get more notice when they should.
"hmmm I even follow Teen Team on Instagram" Mark notes.
"Yeah everyone's fourth favourite superhero team" Eve smiles as Steven does too.
"I also follow Amethyst as well" Mark said looking at Steven as he signed at that.
Ever since Amethyst discovered social media she has been on it 24/7, making videos and recording of whatever she does and getting very popular on all the platforms, even making one for the Crystal Gems.
"You and everyone else, no Amethyst will not give you a shout out" Steven said pointing at him as Mark chuckles at that.
"At least you both are better than Fight Force" Mark said,
"Oh we're definitely better than Fight Force, they lost to the Lizard league last year" Eve smiles at that.
"Oh remember that on TV" Mark said as Steven shrugs.
"I thought there were stuck ups, especially Seraph" Steven said, recalling the leader of Fight Force, Guy with metal wings and a sword claiming to be an angel, has a self-righteous attitude.
"AHHH I hate Seraph, he has a huge stick so far up his ass" Eve complains as Steven agrees with her.
"I heard some of his speechs, he mentioned justice this and justice that, can't he think of another word" Mark recalls watching a few videos of Fight force and Seraph always talking about justice everything when he's on camera.
They laugh at that, as they sit down on the roof.
"Thank you" Mark said to them, feeling better after this.
"I charge 250 an hour," Eve said, holding her hand out to Mark.
"What" Mark asked, confused.
"What Eve, you charge me 300 an hour, why does he pay less?" Steven asked with a frown as Mark looked between the two with bewilderment.
"It's a joke, you're still new" Eve said, standing up to grab her bag as Steven and Mark stand up as well.
"Why don't you come meet the team after school?" Eve asked him.
"Team teen..I don't know there only everyone fourth favourite" Mark jokingly said as Eve smiles,
"Meet me out after class Invincible, see yah later Steven" Eve said before jumping off the building with her powers.
"Bye Eve, see you later" Steven waves her off as they both watch him fly off.
"Luckily you, getting invited to join the Team Teen, and your first day with powers" Steven said as Mark just smiled.
"A little early for me to join Steve" Mark said as both of them jumped down off the building.
"Well if you get a chance to come by Beach City, meet the Crystal Gems, maybe get a shout out from Amethyst" Steven jokes as Mark smiles, but thinks for a second.
"Where is that exactly?" Mark asked him.
"In Delmarva Peninsula, ohh wait you need to know geography to recognise it when flying" Steven said thinking about Mark flying to his place would work yet.
"That far away from here" Mark said surprised Steven goes so far for high school.
"Oh no, it's far from normal transport, I know I'll teleport you with me" Steven said showing his wrist crystal like watch.
"This helps me teleport home and back, cool right?" Steven said as Mark looked at it.
"That is cool, but I like flying" Mark said, Steven nods.
"Cool, just give me a shout out and we're there, see ya Mark" Steven waves bye as Mark gives a slight wave back as he walks to class.

Garnet walks through the GDA, as she walks through the hallway to see the corrupted gem they captured.
The Crystal Gems have an interesting relationship with the GDA, they help them out with capturing Corrupted Gem and help recover any Gem technology. In return the Gem helps them protect the earth and help them with their technology.
Garnet has her own deal with the GDA, thanks to her Future Version she helps stop many disasters before they happen, gaining a lot of influence with the agents . The Crystal Gems even help with other Superheroes as well.
Garnet walks into a door as she sees agents trying to contain the Crab Gem Monster. The Crab monster snaps its claws at the soldiers as they keep their distances while aiming their guns at it.
Soldiers and even some super heroes are aware of the Corrupted Gems, Gems grow too powerful and have now lost their mind and turn into monsters. They mostly keep to themselves but every now and then they can cause destruction in their path. Soldiers can put up a good fight with the corrupted and even poof the weaker one and heroes put up a better fight.
Garnet walks between the soldiers, before grabbing one of them and pulling him back, saving him from getting snapped by one of the claws.
"Leave it to the professional" Garnet said as the soldiers stepped back but quickly aimed their guns at the monster.
The Crab roars, snapping its claws at Garnet as she summons her gauntlet blocking the claw as she smashes it down with her other gauntlet, Garnet jumps forward towards the crab as he knocks the other claw upside down as she smashes the body of the crab. Smashing it to the ground as she pounds it down with her gauntlets until the crab falls down, proofing in smoke as the intact gem came out from the smoke.
Garnet catches the gem, as hovers over the gem, a bubble appears over the gem, Garnet signs as she teleports the gem away.
"And that's how you do it boys' ' Garnet swipes her hands, sending her gauntlets back as she walks away.
Just when Cecil teleports her side in the room.
"You're late" Garnet said, walking through the door with Cecil following behind.
"Had to deal with a demon, but you know that already" Cecil said, aware of her powers and as they walked through the headquarters.
"I get more visions of you teleporting in the wrong place or getting cancer from that thing" Garnet said, as Cecil shrugs.
"Not the worst way to go" Cecil said, knowing he won't die from old age at any point, the amount of times Garnet predicts his death is always different.
"You still won't let us heal your scar?" Garnet said, also seeing Cecil with his scar had could be fix with the gem tech.
"While I appreciate the offer, I'll keep the scar, helps keep me honest" Cecil said, while even he could have the scar on his face removed with advance human technology, he keeps it to remind him of what he fighting for and the consequences of making mistakes.
"Although maybe I should have paid attention to more of your predictions" Cecil said, having heard of her future sight he sought to take full advantage of it, but.
"You would stop believing me after the third one didn't come true" Garnet said calmly, her powers work on seeing future paths, possible futures not the future.
"Well saying the earth is hollow with krakens and monsters in the hole, or sentinel mushrooms are the only reason human evolve, which I would believe more than you think" Cecil said, while Garnet Future sight is a huge help in warning or when shit happens, it not completely reliable, more times they go to one of Garnet predictions only for nothing to happen.
The future is a fickle thing.
"Your boy is doing good at least" Cecil mentions Steven to her, Garnet smiles.
"He is becoming a good man," Garnet said with a proud look, Cecil looking at her with narrow eyes.
"With an education and human contact" Cecil said, when first seeing Steven when he was young and seeing how the Gems were raising him he knew he had to get the boy more support.
At least put him closer to humans then Gems, since his dad is a deadbeat sleeping in a van.
"He is something new to us, and powerful, yet become kind hearted to everyone" Garnet said as Cecil nodded.
"No doubt but he needs an education to fully use his powers and figure out your tech" Cecil said about them.
The Crystal Gem actually don't know how their technology works, they know the basics but their memories aren't not what they used to be. They remember their leader Rose Quartz and they fought in a big war but they don't remember who they fought and why.
"Your right, he helps us all, even asking Peridot to fix some of your tech" Garnet said about the teleporting tech Cecil uses.
Now it's not costing the government more than an arm and a leg for Cecil to teleport.
"Yeah yeah, but that is not why I'm here" Cecil said gravely, as Garnet looked serious.
"Shame, something always happens whenever we talk" Garnet can't help but say as Cecil signs.
"I wish that wasn't the case, but one of your worst case scenarios happened" Cecil said gravely as Garnet signed.
"The ants have evolved and are now becoming a new race" Garnet said, knowing the evolutions of ants would come soon.
"No, that is not happening, I think" Cecil said with a sign, hell some dumbass is probably making super ants or something.
"The squirrels are taking over?" Garnet asked, squirrels are quite smart nowadays.
"I wish," Cecil said, ``a world like this one, who knows if squirrels are smart enough to take over, or if they already have.
Garnet remembers all the worst case futures, as she signs sadly narrowing done to one.
"The guardians" Garnet said sadly, with Cecil nodding.
The Guardians of the globe were the most powerful superhero team on the planet, the Crystal Gems made friends with them, Garnet was offered to join them if she wanted. Her powers help them stop disasters and other such threats. But Garnet felt better with the Crystal Gems then a Guardian but that didn't mean she won't help out.
It saddens Garnet as she loves talking to War Woman, Immortal and Martian man. They would always talk about random things together.
"We're going to mention it to the world soon, people will notice them missing, funerals will be arranged and all, you're invited" Cecil said, as Garnet nodded with a few tears leaking from her eyes behind her glasses.
"We are going to create a new team to replace them, the world vulnerable now more than ever" Cecil said, the guardians dead has left the world weakling to threats now.
"I see thank you for informing me" Garnet said wiping her eyes, she will miss them dearly.
"They were attacked, someone or something called them and killed them, Nolan was there trying to save them, he was lucky to be alive" Cecil mentions how they die as Garnet signs.
"I see," Garnet said, walking forward with Cecil following.
"You had a vision of their deaths before" Cecil said, recalling how she mention of how they died more than once.
"And it's different every time Cecil, sometimes it a villain attacks, sometimes it an accident" Garnet said, telling Cecil her future sight is always acute in these things as she walks through doors leading to a teleporting room.
"Yeah well, it happened now, so do you know who killed the guardians? Garnet" Cecil asked her, as he watched her walk onto the teleporting platform.
"Why ask questions you already know the answer to" Garnet asked him, as she teleports away, leaving a frustrated Cecil behind.
"I hate it when I'm right" Cecil said rubbing his eyes as he prepares for the shit show he has to do.
