Apologies for taking far too long with this... I had 2 chapters almost finished but no, my computer had to bugger up so this got forgotten with all the other stuff I had to finish... but now I've finally decided to update this.

We see Snow town, however there is nobody around, and not a single sound is heard.

"Do you think everybody is gone?" A male voice asked

"Of course everybody is gone! Just get out there" A female voice demanded

"Geez Linda... you don't have to be so pushy" The male voice said

A boy with spiky hair then walked into view of the picture.

"Hi I'm Slash Kamei and..." Slash stopped

Linda then is moving her right hand in a motion that suggests get on with it.

"Umm..." Slash said

Linda slapped her hand to her forehead

"Should we cut Linda?" somebody behind a camera turned to Linda

"No... perhaps somebody will find this... amusing" Linda said

"Linda would you stop it... you are putting me off" Slash said

"Slash you are your own distraction, don't blame this on me... you are hopeless... give this to me" Linda then pushed Slash out of the focus of the camera

"NO! Leave it to me..." Slash replied

The two then pushed each other out of the focus of the camera until Slash was knocked over by a slapstick

"Hey nice shot Michael" Linda said

The camera then turned to a guy standing on top of a hill with his cape blowing in super hero style fashion. He then got onto his snowboard and slid down the hill and stopped right in front of Linda.

"No problem Linda. So what are you doing here and why's the town deserted?" Michael asked

"Well, we are doing work on the new special items everybody has... we have to tell the people at home what everybody does" Linda replied

"Ah... and you had to work with Kamei... you poor thing" Michael said

"Hey back off... I was doing great until you showed up" Slash stood up

"Yeah we had gotten past... I'm Slash Kamei... you can remember your own name... you must be really proud" Linda said

"Shut up Linda... anyway as I was saying, every character has a special shot or item even these two losers...OW" Slash said but on saying the word losers he was hit again by a slapstick.

"Never learns does he..." Michael shook his head

"Nope...I think we should get on with this" Linda said

"Okay... who are we going to start with?" Michael asked

"Let's start with the best first... none other than... me..." Linda smiled showing her perfect teeth to the camera

The camera then blackens out, when it regains a picture we see the Linda's castle course. Linda is in second position with Jam leading, Slash second and Damien in fourth, Linda uses a rocket just before she goes through a blue shop and then from the blue shop she gets a big brown bag with a dollar sign on it. Getting ahead of Jam she then tips the back upside down and about 5 golden rocks come out of the bag and fall onto the track.

"Whoa!" Jam said out of surprise as he trips on one of the rocks, Slash and Damien also are caught off guard as all 3 of them fall into the gap in between the jump.

"I'm just too great for words!" Linda laughed as she looked up at her statue admiring it as she does almost every time she goes past.

The camera returns to Snow town.

"That's my moneybag special... out of it are golden rocks which work like normal rocks... with one exception, I can't trip on them. If I or an ally I may have goes over them that person gains 500 gold instead" Linda explained

"Yeah, it's pretty good... but obviously placing it near cliffs or narrow places makes it even stronger" Michael added

Suddenly an explosion throws Linda and Michael into the air...

"Bwhahahahaha" A familiar laugh follows just as Michael and Linda land back on the ground.

"Hey, great shot!" Slash greets Damien with a high five

Linda and Michael both groaned as they tried to recover...

"Well since they are ko'ed why don't you do your special... tell the people out there what you can do" Slash said

"Sure" Damien said

Moving onto another shot we see Jingle town by night. Nancy leading the race followed closely by Kat, Wendy, Erin and Damien is in the middle of the action. The lift is approaching, any one of them could take the lead of the race right here, it would be all based on what shots or items everybody was holding, for Damien this was good news.

"Sorry to ruin your night ladies, but I've got a race to win" Damien threw his bomb against the lift wall which created a huge explosion about 2 times the size of a normal bomb, which of course takes out all of Damien's competition. Damien however gets onto the lift unscathed.

"How'd he do that?!" Nancy said looking to Kat next to her both attempting to recover

"I dunno..." Kat replied

"See you later girls, ahahahhaha" Damien laughed as the lift took him to the top of the course

Back at Snow town Linda and Slash are fighting yet again, while Michael and Damien are giving each other death stares.

"Guys you are back on" The person behind the camera said

"Umm yes... my bomb creates a huge explosion which I am completely unaffected by... as well... my bombs used to end up exploding in my face... but that was then" Damien explained "However I only get one so I should save it for the best moment" Damien finished

"Like your tiny brain could handle that much information... let alone the fact that your bomb can be deflected. But I guess that's an insult to people with small brains, you have no brain at all" Michael said

"Why you..." Damien went over to Michael and again it broke into a four way brawl.

As the fighting continued Tommy stepped onto the screen with Melissa.

"They never quit do they" Melissa said

"Nope... but I guess we could show them what we do" Tommy replied

"Yeah... that'd be cool" Melissa said as the screen blackened out

This time we are racing on Night Highway, Tommy was in second place with Melissa not far behind him. Tommy goes through a red shop.

"Wow I never knew they sold hamburgers in the red shops now" Tommy goes to put it in his mouth

"No Tommy you mustn't, you've been working so hard..." Melissa said

"Yes... you are right..." Tommy then throws the hamburger backwards

"That's great... ouch!!" Melissa said as the hamburger hit her in the face, she was turned into a hamburger "Tommy help me!" Melissa shouted

"Sorry, I've got to keep racing" Tommy said not looking back unaware of what had just happened until it was too late

"Why you!! ARGGGGGH!!!" Melissa screamed as she fell down the hill

Mr. Dog eventually came and put her back on track but by then she was coming fifth out of six runners. Tommy meanwhile was catching race leader Michael. Tommy threw another hamburger but Michael was watching it and timed his deflection nicely putting the hamburger back in Tommy's direction, and it hit with perfect accuracy turning him into a hamburger instead sending him into the walls and when he hit one wall he merely bounced off it and headed into to the other wall. He couldn't stop himself falling off the edge of the jump that was coming up.

"Noooooo!" Tommy cried out as he tumbled down

When Tommy recovered Melissa was right on his tail.

"You'll learn that I can't hold back against anybody, not even you" Melissa said obviously ticked off as she activated her item and she suddenly became faster and when she came into Tommy she pushed him down causing him to fall to the ground again. Then to add to the damage pans fell and hit him down again but they had no effect on the raged Melissa.

The camera comes out again and the fighting is still going on...

"Turn the camera this way... yes this way..." Melissa smiled sweetly as she motioned for the camera to come towards her away from the fighting

"Yes... my special is a hamburger, it will trap my opponent into a hamburger bun which works similar to the snowman, except that it bounces off the walls even when somebody is caught by it, which can mean a lot of time is lost, but of course it could backfire and hit me instead. It lasts about twice as long as a snowman and I get two of them" Tommy said

"Aren't you forgetting about me?" Melissa asked

"Oh yes... since Melissa can be moodier then Linda..." Tommy started

"What was that?" Melissa asked looking towards Tommy with a raised eyebrow

"Err... since Melissa is much nicer then Linda sometimes she doesn't like being so nice and gets really angry with her sudden anger item, it makes her immune to pans but not shots, ghosts or rocks. Her speed is also increased and anybody she runs into will be shoved down onto the ground, it lasts about as long as the invisible item does" Tommy finished explaining

Suddenly the fighting had broken up.

"You two that's enough fighting, you are disturbing everybody in town" Pilywinkle said standing over Slash and Linda who were sitting on the ground staring back at Pilywinkle.

"We are the only ones in the town!" Slash replied

"That's enough out of you, now all 4 of you be quiet or else!" Pilywinkle ordered

"Get out of the camera shot!" Somebody from a directors chair shouted

"Richard Maltinie? What are you doing here?" Pilywinkle asked

"Shooting this scene, now we've been working very hard so could you please move out of the way?" Richard said

"Whatever..." Pilywinkle grumbled

Pilywinkle then headed in the direction of Greg Parsy's restaurant.

"Oh not good, Pily is heading my Dad's way again..." Tommy sighed

"He always seems to be in one of three places, that alleyway nobody knows what's inside that he seems to be always able to guard, the donut shop or Double G's" Michael said

"Hey guys did I miss much?" Jam asked as he stopped his snowboard just in view of the camera... he was breathing in and out seemingly exhausted, he also had a fair bit of snow on his jacket and in his hair

"Not really but what on Earth happened to you?" Slash asked

"Erin... I had to take a shortcut through the snowy cave to avoid her seeing me... she just stalks me all the time now. Just when I thought I had lost her Kat appears and it's the same thing all over again... there is no end to it" Jam sighed as he flicked up his snowboard with his feet and holds it.

"Then why do you keep running?" Melissa asked

"Well... they are alright girls but... well you know" Jam said

"No I don't..." Slash said

"Oh Slash it's so obvious, he likes them but not in the same way they like him right?" Linda said

"Well... sort of...but anyway can I do my special now?" Jam asked

"Go ahead..." Slash said

The screen blackens out again...

Jam is chasing Linda through the trees of Big Snowman and Jam goes through a red shop. Linda looks behind her and notices this and gets ready to defend from Jam's attack but she misses the rock in front of her and falls over, Jam throws a boom box like shot at Linda and she has no hope of defending, however on hitting Linda she gets a sudden urge to stand up and sing.

"And IIIIIIIIII will always LOVE you... ooooo" Linda sung out with a microphone she seemed to pull out of thin air. After she sung she then tripped over the boom box. By then Jam had well and truly passed her along with two other racers.

The screen then comes back to Snow Town.

"Yeah, that's my dance shot, I get 3 of these. It will cause the target to sing or dance, sometimes both with some amusing results" Jam said "After they finish singing they will trip over the boom box" Jam finished

"Alright let's take a bit of a break" Richard called out from a director's chair. The kids then rested away from the camera.

"How are we going Daddy?" Linda asked

"Quite nicely, although Pilywinkle wasn't scheduled to get in the way, but hardly any of what you guys do is planned" Richard replied

"Oh Jammie... I know you are here somewhere..." Erin's voice echoed throughout Snow Town

"Damn, that's my cue see you later..." Jam puts his snowboard under his right arm and started to run towards the shopping centre however just as he begins to run he sees Kat coming out of the shopping centre, and she had spotted him.

"Hi handsome, going for a run on the course? Mind if I join you?" Kat asked

"Err..." Jam started but then saw Kat get frozen solid

"... You know Adam, I wish you wouldn't do that sometimes" Jam sighed

"Heh, I know. You are glad when you can get away from them though aren't you" Adam then appeared from around the corner of the shopping centre

"Yeah for sure... anyway thanks Adam. Got to run...I'll be back in 5 minutes" Jam then kept running out of town

Kat had then broken free from the ice.

"Oh... what just happened. Ah Adam... where did Jam go?" Kat asked "I bet that Erin hit me with something again" Kat sighed

"Yeah I think she did, I saw them both leave at the west side of town" Adam replied knowing Jam had left on the south side

"You mean she was with him?" Kat asked

"She followed him me thinks" Adam said

"Thanks... bye" Kat then ran off towards the west side

Just as Kat had left the area and Adam was walking towards the other kids when he was then approached by Erin.

"Hey, Jam's friend... where'd Jam go?" Erin asked

"Left from the north side..." Adam said in order to throw Erin off further then Kat.

Erin just grumbled before walking towards the North side

Adam thought Kat was far nicer so didn't really like attacking her but both of them stalked Jam as if he was really famous and they were the screaming fan girls who always chased after him. Erin of course was just very shy except when it came to getting what she wanted.

"You are going to get caught out one day you know" Linda said as she got to the shopping centre, she and the other kids didn't hear any of it but Linda being the social butterfly knew everything that was going on in everybody's lives whether they liked it or not.

"Yeah but hopefully by then they would have given up" Adam replied

"Hey guys" Nancy came up to the two of them.

"Hi Nancy" Adam waved

"Hey Nancy" Linda greeted Nancy

"How are you going on this?" Nancy asked

"Decent, but Adam, your on next right?" Linda asked

"Yup... let's go" Adam said

"Ready guys?" Richard asked

Richard then put up 3 fingers and counted down, 3,2,1.

"Right, Adam it's your turn..." Linda called out

"Alright... Let's go" Adam said firing an icy cloud at the screen.

The screen goes out this time to Ice land. Jam, Slash and Damien are fighting a close battle, in fourth was Adam with Wendy giving pressure from behind, going through a red shop he picks up a strange icy looking cloud that forms in his hand. He smiles to himself as the leaders are approaching the narrow icy right left corners. Releasing the icy cloud it forms a huge ice cloud that moves forward.

"Uh oh..." Damien looks behind him and sees the cloud homing in on them

Jam activates his invisible item just as the cloud is coming over, Slash and Damien are frozen solid in reasonably thick ice, while Jam evaded the ice cloud he didn't evade Slash who had been frozen right in front of him, he crashed right into him and fell to the ground.

"See ya..." Adam said as he jumped over Damien to take the lead

Back at snow town...

"As shown there the cloud will take up a large part of the track but it's size is always the same so it's best used in narrow places. When it makes contact with an opponent they'll be frozen for quite some time which could turn them into obstacles if you aren't careful" Adam explained

"Why is his special seem more powerful then mine?" Melissa asked "It's not fair"

"Yeah, but mine is harder to get in exchange" Adam said

"So what I just want to win all the time" Melissa replied

"It's called balance is that too much to ask" Adam now stared Melissa

"Who cares about balance..." Melissa said stepping closer

"I DO!" Adam replied stepping even closer, the two were now nose to nose.

"Whoa, whoa... take it easy" Linda got in between Melissa and Adam and pushing them apart

"Hey Linda, are you sure that's a good idea?" Nancy said

"Huh? Why do you say that?" Linda asked

"Because, remember when you broke Slash and I up in a fight..." Jam had returned

"No?" Linda replied looking at Jam and Nancy

The camera then takes a different image.

Flashback

We see a Nancy chasing Slash they both look a bit younger.

"Ah I remember this" Linda said

"Shh, you aren't supposed to talk during flashbacks" Nancy said

"Oh right" Linda said

Nancy shouts out after Slash in her anger.

"Slash Kamei, you give Tommy his hamburger back now!" Nancy was fuming, she couldn't stand how Slash had taken Tommy's hamburger and eaten it in 10 seconds in front of both of them. Slash was meanwhile running as fast as he could from Nancy. He was too busy concentrating on running, but Nancy began to lose him, she simply couldn't run as fast as him. As Slash is running he doesn't realise he's lost Nancy and isn't watching where he is going so runs into Jam who is with Linda and they are looking at snowboards.

"Watch where you are going!" Jam said to Slash

"Me!? You are standing in the middle of the street" Slash replied

They argued a bit more until Linda got in between the two of them

"Hey both of you cut it out" Linda said splitting them up

"Get out of this nosey!" Slash then hit Linda

"Yeah, stop sticking your nose into other people's business" Jam said hitting Linda back to Slash

Slash and Jam hit Linda between them, after a while Linda falls to the ground. Slash looks very proud of himself, until he sees Linda.

"Err... Jam... watch out" Slash said pointing behind Jam

Too late, Linda had already whacked Jam with a snowboard, he fell to the ground. Jam then crawled away from the angered Linda as she continued to attempt to hit Jam and Slash with the snowboard.

"I'll get you both!" Linda shouted out after the both of them as they ran away

End Flashback

"I never got you back for that did I!?" Linda said

"Prrft... that was payback for the icy lake incident... and that hit you landed on me really hurt" Jam replied

"Well you deserved it" Linda said

Jam only rolled his eyes

"Well who's next" Jam said

"I'll go next..." Michael replied

The screen rather then blacking out this time a paintbrush comes across the screen and paints the next race... when the picture is done we see Sunset Rock. Michael is holding second place, just ahead of him is Slash, Linda is also approaching Michael in third place. Going through a blue shop he continues to chase Slash and slowly get closer to him.

"I believe you are in my way... MOVE!" Michael ordered as he drew out a battering ram and a speed fan started working on the back of his board.

"Sure, I'll move, in a few thousand years!" Slash replied throwing a bomb backwards towards Michael, however when it hit the shield the explosion occurred but Michael wasn't effected.

"NO! How's that possible" Slash said but Michael gained on him and used the battering ram to knock him down and out of the way.

Linda also got past Slash.

"Sorry, I've got to break this up..." Linda smiled and threw a slapstick at Michael

Michael jumped to avoid it but in doing so he dropped the battering ram but the speed fan was still there.

We return to Snow town.

"My ram shield special will block any shots that are in front of me but not shots from behind, in addition I get a speed fan and anybody I make contact with will be knocked down, however jumping will cause me to drop the ram but the speed fan will still be there until it runs out" Michael explained

Suddenly a pink bunny started hopping into the camera shot.

"Oh bunny!" Nancy pointed then she ran after it and then made a leap and caught it "Aw isn't it cute" Nancy hugged the bunny then put it back down.

"Why do you do that for Nancy?" Slash asked

"Because they are cute, I want to hug every bunny in Snow Town at least once" Nancy said "And that brings me to my own special" Nancy smiled

"What do bunnies have to do with your special?" Jam asked

"You'll see" Nancy giggled

This time loads of pink bunnies come across the screen and when they clear we see Jingle town. Nancy is leading she is going through a blue shop and then a bunny appears in her hand.

"Come to me my friends" Nancy smiled as she put down the bunny.

Suddenly loads of butterflies and bunnies come around Nancy.

"Those bunnies are annoying!" Erin said as she threw a whirlwind at Nancy

The whirlwind headed Nancy's way but then inside of hitting Nancy it hit one of her bunnies instead and knocked it out.

"Oh no!! Poor bunny" Nancy shouted

Erin goes through another red shot and throws a parachute at Nancy. Again it hits one of the bunnies and knocks it out.

"Why are you being so mean to bunny" Nancy said upset

"What's with those things!? I can't land a hit" Erin said puzzled

Suddenly pans dropped from the sky and again Nancy remained unaffected as a butterfly was knocked out while Erin was splattered by the pan.

On leaving the race yellow and pink butterflies flood the screen before clearing to reveal snow town.

"My bunnies and butterflies form a shield that protects me from attacks including rocks but not ghosts or knock down specials such as Melissa's sudden anger or Michael's ram shield. It will last approximately twice as long as the invisible item" Nancy told everyone

"Ah Jam! You came back here, no wonder I couldn't find you" Kat came and approached Jam

"Hey Kat" Jam said

"You guys are doing that special program, that includes me right?" Kat said

"Yeah, has anybody seen Wendy?" Linda asked

"Nah, she's busy with a new project, she said she'll come by later..." Adam replied

"Well I'll do mine too..." Kat said

The screen suddenly becomes foggy then a mysterious hand with a cloth comes and cleans away the fog. We now see Big Snowman. Kat is chasing Erin for the lead. Kat has freeze shots, however both of them are hit down by pans. Kat recovers faster and throws one of them at the recovering Erin, with no chance to defend she gets hit.

"Haha!" Kat laughs at her frozen rival as she throws another landing right on target, causing the ice around Erin to grow larger. Kat throws another and the ice gets larger still, now nearly past her Kat releases yet another shot and the ice around Erin is huge.

"She'll be stuck there for a while... now to get after Jam" Kat smiled as Jam had passed her to take the lead

About 8 seconds later, the ice around Erin finally shatters, leaving her very cold, and equally angry.

Back at snow town (again).

"That's my building ice shot, I get 4 of it. If I hit a frozen target the ice around them grows larger and larger for each shot, the more ice around them the longer it takes to break free" Kat explained

"Slash you are the only one who hasn't done their special yet, Wendy isn't here and neither is Erin" Linda said

"Fine, fine..." Slash said

The screen then goes back to blacking out then it moves on to Turtle Island. Slash is leading from Linda. Having already gone through a blue shop Slash places a rope behind a red shop so Linda won't see it. Predictably enough Linda goes through the red shop being surprised by the rope that suddenly has her by her foot. Before she knows what's happening, she's sent into the air as a tree grows out of nowhere right next to Linda, the tree branch holds the rope in place as Linda struggles to break free. Meanwhile Wendy was also surprised by the tree and crashes right into it. The branch breaks and Linda is dropped to the ground about 3 seconds later and the tree sinks back into the ground.

At snow town Slash has a big smile.

"That's my treetrap special, when somebody is silly enough to go into the rope..." Slash said

"Such as you... you trip on your own rocks on a constant basis" Linda laughed

"Shut up Linda, and it was only once that I handed you a win by tripping on my own damn rock... oh the pain..." Slash then fake sobs for about 2 seconds

"Err... anyway it causes them to be thrown into the air by a tree that grows anywhere. Anybody who runs into the newly grown tree is knocked to the ground" Slash said

Just as he finished that sentence an explosion occurs. After the smoke clears Wendy is seen on top of Slash.

"Sorry about that but thanks for breaking my fall" Wendy smiled
"Ow... yeah... anytime" Slash said getting up dusting himself off

"Is that your new project?" Linda asked

"Nah... I've had this for a while now... this is my special" Wendy said

The camera goes out again and Wendy is seen at Grass Valley. Ahead of her are 5 opponents... she is in sixth and last.

"Excellent, I've always wanted to try this out" Wendy said as she activates her special

Two rockets appear on Wendy's board and she gains a huge amount of speed and passes by Damien and Adam. A corner approaches and she slows her speed a little just to take it before getting back on the pace again and passes 3 more of her opponents before going over a jump and flying over the race leader to take the lead.

"Yeeeeeeaaahh!" Wendy shouts out as she flies through the air

At Snow Town the kids have been all gathered into the camera except one.

"That's my dual rocket... it allows me to go up to twice as fast as a regular rocket but I have much more control over the speed then before allowing me to take most corners cleanly" Wendy said

"Why you! Don't even think of standing next to him..." Erin said pointing an excusing finger at Kat

"You weren't here to ask, and I can do what I like thank you" Kat replied

"I'll show you..." Erin then threw down a strange green spirally item she was holding

"Arggggh!!" Kat spun around so fast she became a blur.

However everybody there had also been spun around, 3 seconds later everybody has stopped spinning and are feeling rather dizzy.

"Erriiin... why'd you do that for..." Slash said pointing at Tommy

"Err... sorry guys..." Erin said rubbing the back of her head "but yeah, without a silly cut scene, that's my item, it... well you just saw it, spins everybody around and causes them to go into a state of dizziness for a while" Erin told the camera

"Well, in short here are everybody's specials" Linda said as a sign held by Jam and Michael came across the camera. The sign of course was a wobbling a little because of the effects of Erin's attack and Michael and Jam couldn't hold it straight.

Damien: Super bomb (shot)

Erin: Stun spinner (item)

"So that's the end of our show... hope you enjoyed it everybody... goodbye!" Linda started waving towards the camera and all the other kids waved as well and the camera started panning out and finally it blackened out.

"Phew... I'm glad that's over..." Jam breathed a sigh of relief

"Me too... I can finally head home. One more screw up from Slash and I would have strangled him" Linda said

"You try to do that every day anyway... and you screwed up too... so don't try put this on me. I'm going home, I don't want to hear your awful voice for at least a week" Slash said

"I don't want to hear or see you either" Linda replied

"Fine" Slash said walking away

"Fine" Linda said walking the other way

The remaining kids watched Linda and Slash walk away.

"You know that would have been a very dramatic exit... if they realised their houses were that way" Jam said pointing to the south exit when Slash went towards the west and Linda the east.

Slash and Linda soon realised their error, blushed and then walked the other way towards the exit hoping nobody would notice but this of course meant them meeting at the south entrance. Slash then tripped Linda and she fell over then got up then started yelling and shouting at Slash who yelled and shouted in return.

"... anyway I'm outta here... let's go to your Dad's joint... I'm hungry" Melissa said

"Okay... I'm with you" Tommy and Melissa then walked past Slash and Linda who were still arguing

Kat and Nancy went off to the shopping centre, Slash and Linda had finally given up fighting as Slash turned around and went another way and Damien followed him. Wendy headed back to her lab while Erin seemingly vanished while Michael followed Linda to see if she was okay, Richard went off to get his work finalised and checked out.

"Well... I say we get out of here, race on Big Snowman sound cool?" Jam asked

"Yeah... let's go, it's about the only quiet place we can get" Adam said

The pair then left as the crowds began to return to Snow town.
