Chapter 1: Shopkeeper and Doctor.
Note: Alright my doods! Here is my first ever pure overlord Fanfiction with an OC MC.
Sure a lot of you would be wondering why I wouldn't go for a canon MC like Momonga but it's mostly for the fact that Momonga is an incredibly established MC with little wiggle room to spin his story into a new story.
The reason why I've chosen an OC instead of my usual Canon MC is mostly due to having a blank slate to work with.
Having a blank slate to use would be very good to mold the story to how I want it to go plus it would be better to see a more positive karma character to have a spin in the world.
Revan is a Lv100 Divine Cleric Ascended Seraph, I used this build before and it became one of my most favorite builds to do, especially since It's known more as a Healer/Support build then being frontline like Ainz or some of the NPCs.
And since Revan has 100+ Karma Value, so that will make the series infinitely different from Ainz who had a Negative Karma Value of -500, this will make the series different since a different positive character will be leading the story.
And this story will go different then the usual concept of an OC Player arriving in the new world and tries to take it over, this story however follows a theme of a Ascended Seraph simply trying to focus on building his shop and unnecessary gets himself involved with numerous points that could be considered a hazard to one's health.
Anyway, this story has been made by me and my co author unlimitedblades and is beta read by my boy ZergPsycho.
Show this story some love, it's my first attempt at a pure overlord fic.

It was quite odd in a sense within the Re-Estize Kingdom.
Within a relatively middle aged society built up with multiple human societies forming kingdoms while Demi Human and Grotesque Heteromorphic creatures scoured the woods and caves.
Re-Estize Kingdom among the multiple large formed kingdoms of the world, they have a special kind of hate for Magic Casters, Wielders of Arcane energy called Magic.
Since the Re-Estize Kingdoms founding, they always focused on traditional combat such as warriors and the mysterious martial arts that most warriors seem capable of utilizing to enhance there physical traits but there knowledge on the arcane has been declining since a lot of magic casters from all over are starting to congregate in another kingdom called 'The Baharuth Empire'
However, during one night in the Capital City of the kingdom, a mysterious man wearing odd looking clothing with long blonde hair tied into a birds tail and a face plate that was maroon red in color with a T Visor on it, how the plate remained on the blonde man's face was a mystery of itself along with cloth wrappings around the head leaving the top of the T-Visor unobstructed.
During that night the masked man arrived, one of the commoners in the poorer district was extremely damaged as she was revealed to be a sex worker in a brothel that was deemed illegal but the masked magic caster appeared and healed her on the spot, said witnesses on the sight.
It was believed by eye witnesses that the masked man was a divine caster who casted a powerful healing spell called 'Cure Wounds' to which a few days after, numerous mages of the Guild Association of Magic had deemed that 'Cure Wounds' was a Fifth Tier Spell and that had already gotten the whole kingdom in an uproar of a masked individual capable of casting fifth tier magic, said individual had quickly sprung up a commercial store for Magic Items and Enchantments.
Less than a few days, one man has changed certain aspects of a kingdom on the cusp of a civil war.
Within a stone brick shop which has the look of any common items shop any Warrior or magic caster could find.
A young woman with very beautiful golden blonde hair, wearing a maid dress for an odd reason was seemingly sorting magical scrolls into tubs to be placed on one of the many bookshelves.
The blonde woman was named Tsuare, a former prostitute that nearly died on the streets from the extensive damage to her rather beautiful body but in a time of prayer, she prayed for someone to take even an ounce of pity and bring her out of such filth and promised to dedicate the rest of her pitiful life to them.
Such prayers and desires were answered by a masked figure with blonde hair, The former sex worker reached out from the bundle of rags that the blonde was entrapped in to try and grasp the bottom of the man's pants.
The masked man had taken the woman to his perceived dwellings for the night and healed her with some powerful spell called 'Cure Wounds', the blonde caster explained that Cure Wounds was a fifth tier spell that he could utilize along with a myriad of other spells the blonde caster seemed to have knowledge of.
And since that day into the coming few days, Tsuare worked triple hard on assisting the masked man's goal of setting up a mixture of a Magic Items and Enchantment Shop, along with a clinic that offers extremely cheap healing.
That rumor alone had sent the entirety of the divine church on the warpath and had tried to petition the royal crown to have this heathen removed and killed but the king decreed that there was no laws banning one from practicing healing magic especially since the Masked Man was deemed by numerous people, who watched the blonde man set up signs outside of the building that he currently owns, to be a Divine Caster.
Anyway, the blonde woman in the maid dress smiled as she pushed back the final plastic bin into the shelf to quickly leave the store to face the man that the former sex worker had started working for "Lord Revan! The scrolls had been placed in their assigned spots" she exclaimed with happiness in her voice, having completed one of many tasks that her lord gave her.
The man who is known as 'Revan' spoke "Tsuare, what did I tell you about calling me 'Lord'"
Revan was unique for certain, his outfit consisted of a black skin tight shirt with a comfortable looking black leather jacket with an odd insignia on the back, the pants were grayish combat pants tucked into boots.
The man's face was covered by his trademarked red face plate with the T-Visor though unlike the Divine Casters first appearance inside the capitol, no face wrap was present to which gave a proper view of Revan's brilliant golden hair that was tied into a bird's tail.
The blonde haired caster was writing on the final board of the series of chalk boards that was placed on the outside of the stone brick building to which they were.
'Angelic Magic Shop'
'Magic Items are stored here'
'Cheap Items and Enchantments'
'Enchantments done on site'
And the final board, Tsuare was lucky to have walked behind her master to see the final board which certainly shocked the former prostitute.
'Free Medical Exams - Medical Treatment, 20 Silver'
"M-My L-Lord?" The blonde maid spoke up which she had elicited a grunt from the masked caster which meant that the maid commoner had the man's attention to which the woman gulped lightly "A-are you sure about that…price? I-it would disrupt the price market for healing set by the church…"
The masked man snorted as he got up from the wooden chair while placing the white chalk that Revan was writing with into a mysterious black portal "I care little for the unfair pricing set by an organization, do you know what I find repulsive about this kingdom? They are willingly turning away people actually in need of healing for both physical damage, poisons and disease and only seemed to cater those with coin which again, I find repulsive, 25 Gold Coins for a measly Second Tier Healing spell when I can utilize the same healing spell for Tenth of a cost." Revan lectured the blonde maid about economics.
Then he looked over to Tsuare, she flinched at the sudden gaze that the maid could feel from behind the mask of her new master "Remember this Tsuare, that night I healed you with 'Cure Wounds' I told you that I take my duties as a Cleric extremely seriously, if people have a problem then they can take it up to my complaints department" the masked blonde caster exclaimed as he quickly grabbed the chair and hauled it over his back.
Tsuare was worried but equally curious on what this 'Complaint Department' was because Revan has shown throughout the few days that the blonde maid had known the Divine Caster as no nonsense, and even lectured a nobleman yesterday about his ignorance and arrogance.
That really made a scene at the market and a lot of people were watching as the noblemen was red faced and embarrassed of being lectured that everyone would call 'Commoner'
The door to the shop opens again to which the blonde caster entered with the maid following close behind "But Milord, I am only worried for your livelihood, your commotion yesterday with the nobility and disregard of the directed prices of the church…you'll be making a lot of enemies" Tsuare tried to reason with her lord, worried about Revan.
Revan snorted slightly as he placed the chair by the front door and went behind the wooden counter with numerous knickknacks and items strong around, ranging from mysterious glowing crystals of a variety of colors, large crystal clusters, potions filled with red liquid, green liquid, blue liquid, multi colored liquid and much more.
"My dear, do you believe I'm weak?" The masked caster asked as he turned to face the maid, Tsuare quickly flinched as well as looked horrified at the prospect of her words being misinterpreted as his weakness.
Tsuare quickly shook her head "N-no! That's n-not what I meant, M-milord! I'm just worried about you…"
Revan chuckled lightly as he bobbed his head slightly "I know what you meant, and I appreciate you for thinking about me but I can promise you…the only thing that can threaten me here is politics, combatively however, no one can compare" Revan informed her because it was indeed true.
Revan was, infact, not of the new world.
Truthfully, Revan was a player from the world of Yggdrasil, a DMMORPG, a massively expanded virtual reality that was really pleasing especially since the world that Revan originally came from was poisoned and dying to which corporations was controlling the world.
Yggdrasil was one of the best virtual reality games that really immersed the players into a world unpolluted, the game of Yggdrasil was modeled after Norse Mythology and had nine virtual worlds that were incredibly expansive, being as large as Tokyo City of Japan.
Revan or his true name Soichiro Kuzuki, played as a powerful Ascended Seraph Cleric, throughout his time in the game was considered by many as a 'Support/Healer' which is true but Revan had believed himself to be 'Well Rounded' since Clerics in Yggdrasil and DnD, which Yggdrasil took incredible inspirations from, were both physical and magical classes but in Yggdrasil, Clerics were designed to be more magical then physical but some Cleric Classes did supplement the physical weakness though it took a smart person to figure out a sweet spot to have in Cleric Classes to have the immense magical power of a cleric without the close ranged weakness.
Revan did find that sweet spot which transformed his Support/Healer build to a 'wildcard' build.
In the final few years of playing the game of Yggdrasil, Revan was technically known as a lone wolf, a solo player, but the masked angel caster had chosen to join up with a relatively known heteromorphic guild called 'Ainz Ooal Gown' which was the reformation of a clan named 'Nines Own Goal'
How the Angel knew about the clan was because he was close friends with the self proclaimed 'King of the Perverts' that had been as a member of the guild for sometime so Revan in a time of players waning in the virtual worlds, decided to see what it was like to have comrades and joined up.
Much to the enjoyment of the Overlord Necromancer that was the leader of the guild, Momonga was the player's name and it was ironic.
Overlords were known to be the highest tier of the skeletal undead while Ascended Seraph turned new god were the highest tier of the angels(and essentially God in Angels Case), yet two heteromorphic entities that were extremely deadly to each other were in fact allies for the final few years as they went on self contained adventures together.
When Yggdrasil was shutting down, Momonga only stayed in the guild for sometime but due to time constraint and incredible exhaustion, chose to leave earlier than the undead leader preferred.
Leaving Revan alone to wander the halls, when the time came that the servers will be shut off.
Revan was in the storage room of the guild with two of the NPCs, to simply not be alone since the masked angel couldn't view himself being alone again after having so many adventures with the Undead Necromancer.
When the shutdown occurred, the blonde man was teleported to an empty plain with the two NPCs, no other NPC came with them for whatever reason so now, those three must survive in the world together as remnants of the great guild of Ainz Ooal Gown.
Tsuare was trying to convince her lord to think about his safety but the door opened to cause the two blondes to look over.
An older man with deep brown hair with a few grays seemingly forming, he was wearing a basic commoners outfit of wool woven shirt and pants.
An older woman that had faded red hair with the same wool outfit was clutching closely a young man that didn't seem older than 10 that had the same color hair as the father.
"E-excuse me?" The man stuttered lightly towards the masked divine Angel "I-I saw your sign…"
Revan remained silent for the moment then looked at the blonde maid "We will continue this later, now go into the back and retake inventory"
Tsuare simply sighed but nodded then quickly left towards the back room so she may assist the one who's currently taking the store's inventory but she wasn't excited for this conversation later on.
"Is it true?" The mystery new world man asked Revan who simply remained quiet for the time "Do you truly give out 20 Silver worth of healing?"
Revan nodded at this level of questioning because many in the new world always seemed to believe that the only true way of healing is through the overinflated prices set by the church "It is, my healing spells is worth 10th of the current cost by the church"
"T-thank you Sir…my son had received a weapons injury sometime ago and we were turned away by the church when we pleaded for aid…they wouldn't even compromise with scheduled payments or alternate payments" The man has explained his situation while the red haired mother hugged her child closer almost worried about him while the son was gingerly grasping his pathetically bandaged up arm which made the masked caster abit angrily by looking at that shoddy work.
Revan nodded at this "I understand" he said as the red masked caster walks around the counters to walk towards the family "I simply need to investigate the wound to determine the severity of it"
The father seemed to nod at this then gently grabbed his only son to gently push the boy towards the caster who kneeled down to start unwrapping the shoddy made cast and exposed the deep slash wound on the arm.
"How long has the boy been injured?" Revan asked as his gaze on the wound intensified, the bleeding hadn't stopped along with some of the wound looking green indicating infection.
The father seemed to look down for a few minutes thinking "I believe a week since the incident, we constantly tried to plead with the church but they wouldn't bend" he said.
The mother spoke up for the first time since arriving in the shop "C-can you do anything sir?" The woman pleaded as she couldn't think of a world where her child died.
"I can, it's lucky that you came to me when you did, your son's injury is infected and any longer before treatment, he would've lost an arm, worst case…death" The masked player exclaimed which caused both new world citizens to flinch heavily as they couldn't handle their child dying prematurely "But luckily, it's not up to that stage."
Revan then placed a hand on top of the brown kid's head causing the kid, after flinching from the cold air hitting his infected wound, to look at the Masked Shopkeeper curiously.
"Heal" Revan has casted one of the stronger healing spells in his arsenal, Heal was a Sixth Tier Spell that could heal a moderate chunk of HP to those who were the target of the healing spell and it removed 1-2 Debuffs randomly and it's a spell best held when ones in a pinch.
Luckily the damage and the poison/disease would be dealt with simultaneously.
The boy watched in wonder as he saw the wound be enveloped with a warm green glow and sealed itself, the green of the wound was erased as well, with the green glow dissipating shows the wound had been healed.
No pain whatsoever.
"Woooooow!" The boy said while incredibly amazed that his arm wasn't hurting anymore and actually felt great.
The parents watched in complete amazement of the boy's injury having been healed in a near instant then watched the blonde caster get up from his kneeling position "There we go Kiddo, do try not to get harmed again. Wouldn't do so well to cause your parents such worry" Revan exclaimed then looked over to see the red haired mother quickly envelop her child while tears ran down her face.
The father looked over with a deeply relieved face "Thank you…you do not know how much this means to us…"
"It's fine, I do not turn away those in need and I'll do everything I can to ensure unnecessary losses are kept to a minimum" Revan exclaimed as he scratched the right side of his face in nervousness as he simply said what any common person would do.
The man seemed to smile as he pulled out a sack from his woven pants to try and get out some silver for the payment but Revan raised a hand to the man "First time free" the masked man said, causing the two parents to look at him astonished.
"B-but…I can't do that!" The man shouted as he pulled out a gold coin to extend towards the man, Revan simply stared at the coin.
"I can assure you Sir…I do not turn away those in need, if I have to open a soup kitchen just to help feed the lesser districts then I will…that's just who I am" Revan exclaimed, though silently wondering if he was this genuine on his belief of helping others or if it was amplified by his race and Karma Value though deciding not to dwell on it anymore.
The man simply stared in greater astonishment as a man would decline payment to simply help others, this caused the older brown haired citizen to look down while placing the piece back into the sack "You truly are a generous man…But I can't allow such debt to go unpaid…I'll think of something to repay you…" the new world citizen said and before he could leave along with his family, he turned to face the masked man who remained still while having the players arms crossed.
"My name is Anzac…I was a former Silver Ranked Adventurer years ago…I'll be back soon to repay my debt" and like that, he and the woman left with the child while the said boy kept touching the former placement of the wound.
Revan watched with a smile on his face, even if no one could see beyond the red face plated mask but it felt good to the high tier angel to see such a happy family then depression sent in.
The Angel hears footsteps behind him so the blonde caster turned his body slightly to see a dark tanned skinned man wearing jeans, boots, a basic t-shirt and round framed glasses on his face which held a glare that hid the mysterious deep grinned man's eyes, his hair was gravity defying.
The creature wasn't wearing his usual red striped suit that was an incredibly powerful item that enhanced the devils abilities, mostly to remain in the view of others as simply foreigners from a land far far west.
Demiurge was the man's name, a level 100 Archdevil with incredibly disturbing power and one of the two NPCs that came to the new world with Revan "Lord Revan, are you sure it was wise to not take up the man's attempt to place himself into debt to you? It would've gained us a valuable spy"
And he was incredibly disturbing to the masked man mostly because, while the two did differentiate on numerous topics due to there polar opposite races, Demiurge had a maxed out negative Karma while Revan had a +100 on his so both had incredibly different goals to achieve while trying to hide within the new world and integrate with them.
"I'm not putting an innocent family in that sort of danger and besides, with my permanency skill, I can create spies that last indefinitely so that would make human spy's near worthless to me" The masked caster exclaimed as he started walking back to the wooden counter.
The glasses devil seemed to nod at this "Of course! How clueless of me to assume you hadn't thought of that! Forgive my ignorance Lord Revan to your grand plan" The creature exclaimed with a rather hideous grin.
Revan doesn't correct the Arch-Devil most of the time since The Demon was incredibly smart especially with finances as such Demiurge has been assigned to keep a close eye on the store's books, however, Demiurge constantly claimed that he kept misreading some 'Grand Plan' that the Angel has in place and connecting dots that don't exist.
That constantly hit Revan's buttons yet, no longer caring of what the Arch-Devil was fantasizing about since the Angel preferred to focus on the peaceful life that he's building "Yeah yeah, how's the Inventory doing? Are we prepared for enough time to start looking for deals with manufacturers?"
Demiurge seemed to nod at this while pulling out a leathered book, not Human lucky enough, from a black portal which was actually the gateway to a players inventory, Demiurge had his own Inventory though unfortunately couldn't be enhanced to such a degree that Revan did to his own "Yes Lord Revan, all the sealing crystals will be displayed Tomorrow Morning as per your request, the weakest first to determine the kingdoms economy for magic items, the scrolls of various spells of 5th tier to 7th tier will remain in storage until these 'Adventurers' take notice of the shop, low quality health, mana and stamina potions remain on standby if we sell out at any point. And Miscellaneous Items will be restocked if we run out of anything." The Devil gave his report of the inventory.
Revan nodded at this as he was ready to truly open his shop then spoke "Where's Tsuare?" The angel asked as he grew to like having the blonde Human maid around.
"She's currently having Cocytus divulge some of his warrior's stories to her in the back" Demiurge gave the response to his lord's question.
Cocytus was the second NPC to arrive in the new world alongside the Arch-Devil and the Ascended Seraph from Yggdrasil, Cocytus was a Lv100 Ice Beetle who held all of his levels in a mix of Insectoid Racial Classes and Pure Physical Classes.
The Angel nodded at this as it was something for her to do then simply dust and clean the shop, though hoped she did something productive while chatting with the Ice Insectoid in the back "Right, now, go flip the sign Demiurge…The Angelic Magic Shop is now open for business"

Alright my doods! Here is the first chapter of the story and I have to say, I'm quite proud of this as it was my first OC MC story and I did a lot of stories with Canon MCs in a variety of ways.
